Introducing Jenkin, the First Housemate of Big Brother 2023
The highly anticipated return of Big Brother has arrived, with 16 housemates entering the famous TV house for the 20th season of the ITV series. One of these contestants is Jenkin, who hails from Bridgend and holds the honor of being the first to join the cast for 2023.
Getting to Know Jenkin
Jenkin, a 25-year-old barman, describes himself as "not the only gay in the village, but the best one" in his VT. When asked why he decided to join Big Brother, he responded, "I was bored and I thought I'd do something different, give it a whirl." Although excited to meet new people, Jenkin is cautious about the potential drama that may arise from conflicting personalities.
A Gossip Lover with a Dream Housemate
Jenkin admits to loving a bit of gossip and jokingly reveals that his dream housemate would be Queen of Clean Kim Woodburn, as she would take care of all the housework. If he were to win the £100,000 prize, Jenkin says he would use the money to pay off his dad's house and indulge in a giant online shopping spree.

A Stern Reminder from the Hosts
Before the first episode, AJ and Will had a message for audiences: "We are so excited to see what all our amazing housemates get up to this series. There's going to be ups and downs, twists and turns – it's going to be so great." However, they also reminded viewers to be mindful of their comments online, as the housemates are real people with real lives and deserve respect.
