VIEWERS who tuned in to the latest Mega Mansion Hunters episode were shocked at an awards show speech given by the property boss.
In the latest episode of Channel 4’s Mega Mansion Hunters, the UK’s answer to Selling Sunset, property boss Tyron Ash gave a rather colourful speech.
The good-looking and ambitious sales team attended the company’s quarterly awards.
The various agents picked up a swag of awards as they competed to be top agent.
Quas Miah won the big award, but it was Tyron’s expletives throughout his hosting of his awards that raised eyebrows.
Tyron said at one point: “No one f***ing gives you anything in this world… the ethos we have is to make a difference, if you don’t f***ing want to do that, the door is there.
“I don’t hold a gun to anyone’s head to f***ing stay… f***ing go, I’ll f***ing book your taxi, f**k off.”
He later said: “This industry is a f***ing dinosaur, it needs f***ing picking up shaking and slamming down on its head.”
Viewers took to social media to complain about Tyron’s crude language.
“I love a good swear. But there is no need for the all the f***s in that speech. Time & a place for that,” complained one fan on Twitter.
Another added: “Boss not stop swearing in a big presentation in front of your workforce is soooooo not cool!!!!”
And a third wrote: “What kind of event is this – shocking.”
While a fourth commented: “What a ‘f***ing’ awful awards ceremony.”
The high-end estate agent claims to have wrestled £300million of “super-prime luxury” listings from the big players in the last 18 months.
Tyron, 33, is no ordinary estate agent. He started his business two years ago, after spending 40 months in prison on a drug-dealing charge, and now employs a team of 100, who stand to earn up to £80k on a sale.
There’s no office or shop window and the company’s incredible listings — including a £3million penthouse in Chelsea Harbour with a 360-degree view and a £5million Surrey mansion with an indoor pool complex and cinema — are promoted on TikTok and Instagram.
“High streets are full of the dinosaurs of the industry,” says Tyron, in the opening of the show, with the cast-iron confidence of a wannabe from The Apprentice. He adds: “I only want real estate sharks here.”
Mega Mansion Hunters is on Wednesdays Channel 4 and All4
