The set has since been dismantled and the crew were sent home to stop the spread further.

An insider said: “Covid has been a nightmare for Brassic and just when they thought things were calming down, it’s started up again.

“Everyone was being super careful because of the new variant but there’s been another outbreak.

“Michelle and the other well-known cast members are believed to be well.”

The cast and crew went almost immediately from filming series three into series four during the pandemic, which has meant shooting has come to standstill on a number of occasions as people have tested positive.

The set was previously shut down in September 2020, and January 2021 after Covid outbreaks.

Michelle, who plays Erin Croft, has been back and forth between Manchester and London working on the current series.

She shared a clip on Monday as she headed to set very early in the morning.

The break in filming comes after her husband Mark Wright revealed he has had a 12cm tumour removed from his armpit amid fears it was cancerous.

The ex-Towie star, 34, said he was told to leave the “fatty lump” at first but returned to medics when it started to grow.

He got a second opinion, and while MRI scans couldn’t confirm a benign tumour, a consultant said there was “nothing sinister to worry about”.

It’s been a difficult couple of years for the stars after Mark’s family was torn apart by Covid, with his uncle Eddie dying and six relatives struck down by coronavirus.

Mark revealed he prayed day and night when his family were in hospital, crying as he told The Celeb Report: “I could have lost them all.

“I’m struggling to cope with this. In December and January I was at a point with a grandma, grandpa, mum, dad and uncle — when I could have lost them all.
