NAGA Munchetty was missing from BBC Breakfast this morning following Sally Nugent’s absence earlier this week.
The BBC One programme has seen a series of presenter shake-ups all week with Naga being the latest star to go missing from the show.
Rachel had taken Naga’s place
Rachel made herself at home on the programme
Appearing on the show in place of Naga was Radio 5 Live host Rachel Burden who took up residence on the sofa alongside Charlie Stayt.
Rachel is usually heard on the airwaves in a morning as opposed to on the small screen as she regularly hosts 5 Live’s breakfast show between 6 and 9am but was quick to jump into Naga’s shoes.
Rachel admitted she had to leave her beautiful surroundings to head to the Salford sofa but revealed she did so with glee.
Sharing a photo to Twitter of a beautiful beach, she wrote: “Would you mind coming back from this to sit on the on the sofa with Charlie Stayt, they asked? I had not a moment of doubt. See you at 6am.”

It comes following a decision to axe Sally Nugent from her regular role earlier in the week.
The TV host was replaced on Monday, Tuesday AND Wednesday on the morning show.
The 51-year-old journalist usually presents the flagship programme alongside Jon Kay.
However as Jon, 52, fronted the show live from Downing Street as Rishi Sunak becomes the new Prime Minister, Sally’s stand-in was left to host alone.
Victoria Fritz stood in for Sally and was based in the studio again.
Victoria regularly presents news bulletins for the Beeb.
