Jannine’s family mourned the sad news with a heartfelt Facebook post

The Australian B&B shared the tragic news of her passing earlier this Summer on their Facebook page.

The statement read: “It is with great sadness that we announce Jannine’s passing on 21st of June 2021.

“Jannine will be forever missed by her loving husband Mark, daughter Hollie, Family, Friends, B&B Guests and fans of instant Hotel worldwide.”

The family concluded their tribute with a poem, which read: “Those we love don’t go away.

“They walk beside us everyday, unseen unheard but always near. Still loves still missed forever dear, roses are red so is my wine, refill my glass and I will be fine.”

“Every time you raise your glass, think of our treasured Jannine. RIP.”

A cause of death remains unknown.

Fans expressed their sorrow in the comment section, with one writing: “I’m so sorry, we loved her on Instant Hotel and had hopes to one day come visit and meet the family. My condolences on the loss of your dear one.”

Another mourned: “Oh no …. such a beautiful lady and a superb hostess. Best memories of her hospitality and attention to detail during our stay at the Old Garage.

“So very sorry to read of this … sympathy to her family and friends. Gone far too young.”

“Such an amazing, warm and beautiful couple. Thoughts are with Mark and Jannine’s family,” a third said.

‘UNIQUE RETRO HOME’

Jannine and her husband, Mark, were high school sweethearts and starred on the first season of the reality show – which featured homeowners competing for the title of best Instant Hotel.

There, contestants would stay the night in each other’s rentals and rated their experiences on a scale of one to ten.

The Barossas’ quickly became fan-favorites and were known for their comical quips while their fellow costars provided the drama.

The Netflix stars ran what they referred to as a Unique Retro Home, which is a bed and breakfast that looks like a 1950’s style diner – complete with checked floors and a juke box.

It sleeps eight people and is equipped with two bedrooms and two bathrooms near the Australian city of Adelaide.
