The Jungle Exit
I'm A Celebrity star Nick Pickard has admitted that he is "glad to be out" of the jungle following his unexpected eviction from the show. The 48-year-old actor, best known for his role in Hollyoaks, was the fourth contestant to be eliminated after spending 19 days in the jungle.
A Shock Exit
Nick's departure from the I'm A Celebrity camp sparked rumors of a "fix" among stunned fans. It came down to him and This Morning presenter Josie Gibson, 38, in the bottom two. However, Nick appeared on Thursday's Good Morning Britain in high spirits, talking openly about his jungle experience.
A Great Experience
During his interview, Nick candidly expressed his feelings about leaving the show. He said, "It's a great experience and very overwhelming. I am glad to be out. Half of you wishes you could make it to the final because you're honored to be asked, but the other half is counting down the days. Now I have six days in a lovely place, and then I just have to go to a party and go home."
Back to Reality
Reflecting on his return to the real world, Nick said, "It's amazing. It's a little bit overwhelming when you come out because I've gone from being in the jungle to being in paradise." He also revealed that he believes I'm A Celebrity alumni Sam Thompson has a good chance of winning this year's competition.
The Final Trial
Speaking to Ant and Dec after his exit, Nick discussed his final trial, describing it as the worst one he had to endure. He mentioned the bites and his discomfort in cars, saying, "It was terrible. I was numb by the end of it. It was without a doubt the worst one."
Fans Cry "Fix"
Following Nick's eviction, fans took to social media to express their shock and labeled the result a "fix." Some viewers were particularly upset that Josie and Danielle were still in the competition while Nick was eliminated. One disgruntled viewer tweeted, "That is shambolic, ITV must be keeping Josie in for their own benefit."
Nick Pickard's unexpected exit from I'm A Celebrity has left fans questioning the fairness of the competition. Despite the controversy, Nick remains in high spirits and grateful for the experience.
