DANCING On Ice judge Oti Mabuse has shocked fans by divulging her real name. The I’m A Celeb star has taken viewers by surprise and revealed that she wasn’t born simply Oti. South African dancer Oti, 34, stunned fellow campmates with the information that her real name is Otlile.
Learning languages in the jungle
The clip of Oti explaining her birth moniker came on last night’s episode of sister show I’m A Celeb Unpacked. Host Joel Dommett explained that the campmates had been using their spare time to learn each other’s languages. Oti shared her full name, Otlile, with the group, but her campmates struggled with the pronunciation.
Not a fan of the jungle shower
Despite her jaw-dropping figure, Oti has revealed that she won’t be stripping down to a bikini in the I’m a Celebrity jungle shower. She even intends to ‘cover up’ when she washes in the jungle shower. Oti joked about appearing in scuba gear and emphasized that she is not there to be the eye candy of the series.
Finding her real name
Mabuse’s daughter, whose name is a secret, told Hello! previously that her mother Dudu had an important part in the name. Oti, known for her appearances on various TV shows including Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing On Ice, surprised fans with the revelation of her birth name, Otlile.
