Terrifying Cliffhanger on Last Night's Episode

Paddy McGuinness, the host of Don't Look Down SU2C, was left gasping and yelling in terror after a harrowing incident on the show's latest episode. McGuinness and Pussycat Dolls singer Kimberly Wyatt were tasked with hanging over the edge of a 1,000ft cliff on Penken Mountain in Austria. However, things took a dangerous turn when McGuinness lost his footing and fell off the cliff edge.

A Heart-Stopping Challenge

McGuinness and Wyatt were the first to take on the challenge, which required them to hang over the cliff while keeping their heartbeats under 100 bpm. The longer it took them, the further they would be lowered over the edge. Before the challenge began, Wyatt admitted to being freaked out by the sheer drop, while McGuinness expressed his concerns about the task and the height of the cliff.

A Slip on the Edge

As McGuinness and Wyatt stepped out onto the ledge, McGuinness quickly lost his footing and let out an exclamation of terror. He managed to steady himself, but later, as they were instructed to move even further forward, he slipped off the clifftop and fell out of view. Wyatt looked visibly panicked, and McGuinness could be heard yelling for help. The rest of the celebrities watched on in horror.

A Miraculous Escape

Fortunately, disaster was averted as McGuinness climbed back up onto the platform moments later. He brushed off his fall, saying he couldn't hold himself up. However, the incident clearly affected him, as his heartbeat began to climb once he was back on the platform. Eventually, he completed the challenge and landed safely on solid ground.
