Piers Morgan rolls back the years in fun filtered Dracula selfie with wife Celia Walden

PIERS Morgan rolled back the years in a Dracula filtered snap with his wife Celia Walden.

The former Good Morning Britain anchor, 56, posed for a black and white snap using the Dracula filter which created an airbrushed appearance.

Looking dapper in a suit and bowtie as they travelled to the BAFTAs, Piers was transformed with luminous orange eyelids thanks to the photo editing app, while Celia gave her best vampire impression.

Celia uploaded another photo of the pair and joked: “Trying out filters in the back of a cab.

“This one makes Piers look like Baron Botox.”

Last week Piers celebrated recovering from his “Covid brain fog” eight months after contracting the virus – yet says he still can’t smell.

The TV favourite was double jabbed when he was struck down with coronavirus and has told how the vaccines may well have saved his life.

Piers, the new host of NewsCorp’s TalkTV channel, told how he was left bed-bound for a week at the height of his illness.

He has today taken to Twitter to reassure fans he’s on the road to recovery after completing his first exercise bike fitness session at home.

He wrote: “BREAKING: Just finished first Peloton session in eight (long covid) months.

“Still got zero sense of smell, but taste returning fast, fatigue waves less frequent, brain fog gone.

“Putting this encouraging update out there for all those suffering LC issues. ps No loons need respond.”

Piers’ followers were quick to celebrate him overcoming his latest hurdle, with many commenting on their own experiences.

One wrote: “Good news, I’m a PT was fit as a fiddle before Christmas, got COVID Christmas day and still off work..chronic fatigue, brain fog, struggling to walk, absolutely crazy! No underlying conditions!

“Months till I’m Back to work. Never had anything like it, torture most days!”

Another added: “That’s great to hear! I am still dealing with muscle spasms from my case in January.

“Fortunately, they aren’t causing cramps anymore. Still annoying, though.”

Piers has also been mourning his pal and cricket legend Shane Warne after his death was revealed on Friday.

Remembering Shane Warne – a repeat documentary in honour of the cricketing legend – is being aired on Sky.

Watching it just two days after his death, Piers wrote: “Felt quite choked up watching Sky’s tribute repeat of their brilliant Shane Warne doc ‘Warne In A Million’.”

He then shared a clip of Shane saying: “In this day and age we’ve just got to be a little bit careful.
