REAL Housewives of New York City alum Dorinda Medley showed off her wild decorations including a massive gingerbread house inside of her $2million Berkshires mansion.
The 57-year-old gave fans a mini tour of her home in a new video for Bravo.
Dorinda shared the clip on Instagram, which began with the RHONY alum welcoming fans to her home called Blue Stone Manor.
Large gingerbread and nutcracker decorations were placed outside of the entrance.
Dorinda said she wanted to decorate the mansion with a “candy land” theme, explaining that she made sure the deck out the home with “gingerbread men and gingerbread houses.”
After noting she opted to not have “traditional trees,” the RHONY alum took fans inside of the mansion.
She showed off elaborate gingerbread houses, gingerbread men and a ceramic Santa Claus statue that surround her fireplace.
Dorinda also noted that she placed numerous nutcracker statues inside and outside of the home, while the ones outside are a whopping nine feet tall.
The Bravo star got creative by adding a tree made of colorful flowers in the mansion, which was completed with a matching tree skirt.
Speaking of the unique Christmas tree, she explained: “I wanted to do something that kind of went with the house.”
Dorinda pointed out that the room the tree is placed in is colorful, so she thought the unique tree was the perfect decoration to pull the room together.
THE MANSION
The RHONY alum’s late husband Richard Medley purchased the Blue Stone Manor in Great Barrington for his wife in 2005- one month before they got married.
The $2.2 million country home is located a couple of hours west of Boston and comes equipped with seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
Sitting on 18 acres of land, the property has expansive greenery both in front and around the house with a walkway leading down to the garden.
The reality star’s backyard also has a large swimming pool with a built-in hot tub that looks over miles of trees with mountain views.
RHONY EXIT
Dorinda was fired from RHONY following season 12 after she appeared on the show for six seasons.
Insiders said that the reality star was difficult to work with and that she couldn’t acknowledge or own up to her behavior.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that Dorinda had a bad attitude and was tough to shoot with.
“The season 12 reunion was the final straw,” the source said.
“Dorinda was very aggravated all season long and it was too difficult to work with her.”
“It’s obvious she needs to work on herself,” the source added. “The reunion was rough and she wouldn’t acknowledge her bad behavior.”
