The Carters gets horrifying news

They learn Tina has been found dead

1. Tina’s body is found

The jig is finally up, months after Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) murdered Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White).

This week, the Carter family get some devastating news as the latter’s body is found.

This is all thanks to Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) who went into the mosque to save Tommy Moon from his bullies.

Phil unfortunately got into trouble himself as a lifetime in prison is waiting for him.

Unsurprisingly, this comes as a shock to the Carters as they come to the realisation that Tina is really gone.

A suspicious Shirley (Linda Henry) tells DCI Arthurs that Tina was taking money from her and that Gray had told her he saw her sister on the bus.

Meanwhile, Mick promises his mother they will find Tina’s murderer.

This is until Mick’s daughter Frankie makes her return to Walford official.

Played by Rose Ayling-Ellis, Frankie left the fictional London borough in November, 2021 in classic Walford style, by climbing into a taxi.

Coming up this week, Mick gets ready to put up a literal fight as he gets ready to take part in a boxing match.

But with only a few participants, the pub landlord tells Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) he will cancel the match.

Janine asks for Kim’s (Tameka Empson) help in signing people up and, although she does complete her task, she promises whoever beats Mick will get free drinks for a year.

Mick asks Janine to make sure he fights against the weakest person but the plan backfires.

Things only get worse when he receives the divorce papers from Linda.

But with Tina’s death uncovered and actor Danny Dyer’s upcoming exit from Walford, Linda could make an appearance.

As keeps being the target of bullies, it becomes clear Tommy can’t get rid of them as of yet.

Tommy receives a message demanding money by the end of the day.

Later on, Kat realises Mitch Baker’s (Roger Griffiths) wages have gone missing.

And with Tommy’s request for money still fresh on her mind, her suspicious automatically turn to her young son.

She inadvertently embarrasses her son in front of his bullies, only making matters worse for him at school.

Despite feeling humiliated, Tommy denies he took Mitch’s money and insists that he is no longer being bullied.

The pair are at each other’s throats.

Jean is determined to support Harvey who is nervous about signing a statement.

Harvey is more torn than ever between his family and justice.

Amid his turmoil, Jean tries to lift his spirits up by telling him she has booked them a hotel break.

But he asks her if they can slow things down.

Struggling to make a decision, Harvey receives a concerning call from Aaron who tries to convince his father out of signing the statement.

However, after making his choice, Harvey heads to the police station, ready to sign the witness statement, sealing Aaron’s fate.

But will he really go through with it?

Mitch finds another potential shot at love in Walford

6. Karen realises something about Mitch

Mitch Baker will soon have a new love interest.

However, he is initially oblivious to newcomer named Rita, as she is flirting with him in the cab office.

Keegan and Bailey pick up on this, so the latter (who tried to make her father give a previous relationship a second chance) tells Rita that Mitch will meet her at Ruby’s.

Although Mitch goes along with the plan, he’s unsure it’s the right thing for him to do.

Later, Mitch joins the rest of his family for a drink and looks happy.

But as Mitch moves on, his ex Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) realises her feelings for him and becomes increasingly jealous.

She’s surprised how news of his date has affected her and is left confused.

Is there a chance for Mitch and Karen to give their relationship another go?

7. Chelsea gets her strength back

As Gray recovers from his brutal fight with Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol), his second wife Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) also gets back on her feet after enduring his abuse.

The young mother slowly gains her confidence back while her husband is in a coma in hospital.

Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) even gets proof and realises she has made a breakthrough with Chelsea when she makes an excuse to Karen about not visiting Gray.

Later in the week, Chelsea feels like she can breathe again with Gray temporarily out of the picture.

She begins to let her hair down and has fun with Gray’s children, Mack and Mia.

But her joy is cut short when Mitch tells her that Gray has woken up.

And the serial killer soon realises his wife is no longer ready to put up with his violent ways.

Is Chelsea in danger once again?
