Meri, 51, took to Instagram to post yet another cryptic quote amid her marriage struggles.

In black text surrounded by a pink border, Meri posted a quote attributed to Shonda Rhimes.

The quote read: “I am not lucky.”

It then asked: “You know what I am?

“I am smart, I am talented, I take advantage of the opportunities that come my way and I work really, really hard.”

The quote concluded: “Don’t call me lucky. Call me a badass.”

MERI’S CONFESSION

The quote comes after Meri admitted her relationship with Kody is “estranged.”

Meri opened up about her feelings towards her husband in an Instagram post with a lengthy comment.

She wrote: “A few months ago, I used the word ‘estranged’ regarding my relationship, in a conversation with a friend. It was the first time I had vocalized it, and it felt…. honest.

“It was hard to use, and yet somewhat freeing. I know where my relationship is, I’m not oblivious to that. I will always look for the best in people and situations and hope they see it too.

“I want to protect people, their emotions, the tough situations. I have never been, nor will I ever be, the person who will sit and publicly trash someone or something. So if you start reading this and think that’s what you’re going to get here, you’ll be disappointed.”

Meri continued: “I try not to put labels on things but over the past few months as that ‘certain TV show’ has been airing, I’ve been labeled. I’ve been called by viewers, desperate, pathetic, embarrassing, told I have no worth and no value, and a plethora of other things that I won’t even mention here.

“In actuality, what you’ve seen is me no longer being silent. What you’ve seen is me using my voice to have fun and bring humor to a not-so-perfect situation.

“The truth is, I KNOW my value. I KNOW my worth. Who I AM, what I want in life, what I aspire to be, and what I feel like I’m doing a pretty dang good job at, is being happy.

“I don’t let things around me that aren’t ‘perfect’ get me down, because my inner peace and joy is more important to me than that. I surround myself with people who match or exceed my energy.

“I have friends, co-workers, colleagues, mentors, who fill my cup, and I hope in some way I’m filling theirs. I engage in positive conversations and situations. I dream with the LID OFF! I have plans and goals and aspirations that make me happy and fulfilled. I work toward those dreams daily. I overcome, I succeed, I win.

And, I’m happy with myself,” she concluded.

Alongside the post, she included a photo of herself sitting on the windowsill donning a full face of makeup as she smiled at the camera.

LONELY ROAD

Meri has continued to focus on herself and she gifted herself flowers on Valentine’s Day and then took a road trip going solo.

The reality star shared a selfie of herself in the car ahead of her journey, sharing how much she cherishes the alone time.

She wrote: “In the car again for a quick road trip! I sure do love solo road trips! Time to think about life, time to listen to my favorite audiobooks, time to jam out to fun music, whatever I want!”

She continued: “And the things I get to see are amazing too! The beauty of this country is truly magical! I’ve got something fun happening this week, can’t wait to share it with you!”

Meri looked excited about the solitude on the open road as she gave a soft smile to the camera while sitting in the driver’s seat.

She donned a full face of makeup and her short dirty blonde hair parted to the side as she prepared for the trip.

Her upbeat attitude mirrored her behavior earlier this month when she shared a sweet Instagram video of her receiving a large bouquet of roses.

She revealed that she gifted herself the arrangement for Valentine’s Day, adorably captioning the post: “Sometimes you just gotta bring your own sunshine!”

The flowers seemed to be a mood booster for Meri as in a separate post, she reflected on the loss of her mother and the difficult feelings the time of year brings.

She wrote: “Valentine’s day weekend 2021 was the last time I saw her sweet and smiling face, got one of her loving and comforting hugs, heard her voice, visited with her, enjoyed her company.

“Little did I know it would be the last time.”

Meri went on: “It’s comforting to know she’s in the arms of my dad once again, looking on from above, leading, guiding, and loving like they always have. So grateful for all the years I had with her.”

Instead of leaning on her family during this time, Meri appears to be doing more activities away from her husband and sister wives.
