SISTER Wives star Mykelti Brown has given birth to her first child with husband Tony Padron, a daughter named Avalon Asa.
Kody and Christine’s daughter gave birth to her baby girl with husband Tony on Monday.
The Sister Wives shared the news on social media.
She captioned a photo holding her daughter with husband Tony staring down at their little one: “Happy healthy fun news!!! @tonychessnut and I are parents to our baby girl Avalon Asa Padron who was born on Monday. She’s gorgeous and amazing and our home birth went awesome. Tony and I are so ecstatic with her and overjoyed at what a blessing she is.”
The new mom first shared the word that she would be adding a new girl to the family this past Fall, after sharing a photo with her hubby holding pink balloons.
The couple further confirmed their new addition to PEOPLE, explaining that she had predicted that her first child would be a daughter.
“The whole pregnancy she’s felt like a girl.
“That’s what I really wanted for my first so I’m extremely stoked she’s a girl. Already buying clothes.”
Antonio chimed in: “When I found out it was a girl, I felt, ‘Wow, yup my wife was right, she just knew.
“I was happy it’s a girl, but I did want a boy first. I’m ready to be overprotective,” he gushed.
In November, Mykelti told fans that she had already selected a name for her unborn child, Avalon Marie, and discussed her reasoning.
“Avalon- so she’s from King Arthur and the Round Table. That’s where Avalon is from originally.
“But funny coincidence I liked the name Avalon before I got my first car which ended up being a Toyota Avalon. Isn’t that kind of funny?” she laughed.
The new mom then spoke about the middle name, Marie, adding: “This is the name I’ve wanted since I was 16 for my first girl. But conveniently, Tony’s mother’s name is Maria. So now it looks like there’s a meaning.”
In October the reality star gave her fans a baby update, as she revealed her due date to be in March.
The young mom posed outdoors on Halloween while holding up a peace sign, writing: “HAPPY HALLOWEEN AND HAPPY HAUNTING baby and @tonychessnut and I are going to be home waiting for the tricker treaters while I read an EPIC book.
“HAVE A GOOD HUNT.”
As Mykelti neared her birthdate, family and friends joined together to throw the polygamist daughter a baby shower.
The pregnant star’s mother, Christine Brown, 48, threw the event, which was “book” themed.
Mykelti’s father, Kody Brown, was not present for the celebration, amidst him and Christine’s public marriage struggles.
Fans slammed Kody for missing the important party, as one asked: “Where is Kody?”
“Why would she not post pic with Kody if he was there? Christine must be really hurt if he wasn’t,” a second wrote.
A third speculated: “I’d expect a dad to be there if brothers and husband are there. Clearly it wasn’t a girls’ only shower.”
“Probably with Robyn, he seems to cling to her the most,” another guessed while a fifth agreed: “I think he decided to just stay with Robyn!”
In the new season of Sister Wives, Christine and Kody suffer from marital issues as the polygamist wife expressed her desire to move back home to Utah.
