FORMER Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis went ‘Instagram official’ with her new man Joe Mckalroy last night – posing for a cute picture together.
The actress declared she was “so happy” as she smiled proudly next to her boyfriend.
The loved-up pair were attending an event in Manchester for hair stylist Josh Kelly and Stephanie beamed as she could finally move on after her stalker nightmare.
Stephanie wore her brunette hair in a high ponytail and looked chic in a red velvet, sheer cut out dress as she placed her hand protectively on Joe who opted for a stylish dark shirt.
“Thanking the Lord for you, and Thank you for making so so happy
,” she captioned the Instagram post.
Her fans loved seeing the star happy and flocked to congratulate the happy couple.
“Happy for you<3,” commented one fan.
Another wrote: “Great to see you happy again
.’
And a third added: “A lovely couple you look so beautiful
.”
Stephanie who has a five-year-old son, Caben, with reality television personality Jeremy McConnell, first mentioned Joe to fans earlier this month when his car was burgled outside her house.
Stephanie’s happy photo comes days after her stalker was jailed for bombarding her with unwanted messages, letters and gifts.
Stalker Alex Boston was banged up and handed a restraining order meaning he cannot contact the 28-year-old actress.
The CPS said Boston, 43, of Moreton, Merseyside, stalked the former Hollyoaks star between April 2020 and July 2021, bringing presents and flowers to her door at night.
She became so scared she eventually moved out of the house to stay with relatives, the court heard.
In a statement read out at Sefton Complex Case Court today, Ms Davis said: “I can no longer relax or feel safe and secure and feel my safe haven has been violated.
“Mentally, this man’s stalking has caused me so much stress, I was struggling to cope.
“I was too scared to leave or enter my home. I would and still have panic attacks to this day.
“I constantly feel like I’m looking over my shoulder and can’t fully relax, and my anxiety is horrendous.”
