Today, it was announced that Molly, 21, will be taking part in the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The I Like You singer – who has been dubbed an “intergalactic pop superstar” – first found fame on the competition ten years ago.
She became the youngest ever finalist of Britain’s Got Talent when she was just 11 years old – wowing the judges with her voice.
Now all grown up, Mollie looked very different when she appeared on the show as a schoolgirl auditioning for the judges.
She appeared in front of Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams for her first audition back in 2012.
Mollie was met with gushing comments from the judges on stage, letting her curly hair flow down her shoulders, looking fresh faced.
Her audition clip saw her sing One Night Only by Jennifer Hudson, as she was sent through to the next round with four yes votes.
Today, it was announced that Molly is due to take part in Strictly Come Dancing as part of its 2022 round of celebrities.
As the news broke, Molly explained of her new dancing role: “I’m so excited to be part of Strictly Come Dancing.
“I’ve watched it for years and can’t wait to meet the pros and the others taking part! I can’t wait to learn the moves and get dancing!”
The singer and actress found fame young, but chose to continue her studies after BGT, Simon Cowell and Sony Music honoured Molly with their first ever drama school scholarship at internationally renowned Sylvia Young Theatre School.
Since graduating, Molly is currently starring in the lead role as intergalactic pop superstar ‘Nova Jones’ in the hit CBBC show Nova Jones.
This Autumn, Molly will be seen across CBBC screens as Nova Jones returns for series two – with a third on the way.
She originally starred in the 2012 series of Britain’s Got Talent, which was won by dog act Ashleigh and Pudsey.
Molly ended up finishing an impressive sixth overall.
