Strictly stars Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez holiday snaps BANNED by Instagram

GEMMA Atkinson and Gorka Marquez had their babymoon photos banned by Instagram for being “too violent”.

The Strictly star was left scratching his head after his sweet family snaps had been removed, asking followers for advice.

The couple and their three-year-old daughter Mia have been enjoying their last holiday as a trio before Gemma gives birth.

After realising that there had been a problem with one of his photos, Gorka wrote: “Instagram deleted my last holiday post!! Anyone know why that happens?”

He shared one of the deleted photos on his stories, and wrote: “So Instagram took down these pics for apparently being too violent.”

“What you guys think?? Let me know in the comments and like it if you don’t agree,” he added.

One fan suggested: “Gorka, it’s more than likely due to ‘nudity’. The vast majority of people will just see a family on holiday having fun.

“But the internet is a cesspit for sick people who could screenshot your photos. I know I don’t have to spell out what for, there’s lots of articles about individual cases.”

“That’s absolutely ridiculous, I report fake accounts on here all the time but they never take them down so continue to let vulnerable people get scammed but beautiful holiday snaps are too violent is just incomprehensible!!” another fumed.

Although some found Gorka’s chiselled physique a little too distracting, with one joking: “To be fair you may have put a few fans in hospital from overheating,” and another chimed: “Well those pecs could have someone’s eye out.”

Gemma has proudly displayed her glowing body in a bikini, admitting that she decided not to cover up on the beach to set an example for her daughter.

Taking to her Instagram, the mum-of-one could be seen running on the beach with her toddler in a striped bikini top and black bottoms.

Gemma penned to her followers: “I bought some beach trousers to wear on this holiday.

“Even though I’m aware why it’s happening and how clever my body is, I’ve never been as swollen, bloated, uncomfortable in everyday tasks and had as much cellulite in my life.

“My boobs alone are three cup sizes up! Second pregnancy, almost four years older and with a little boy this time it’s been a lot harder on my body. 

“I know how we feel about our bodies is relevant to the individual and it’s just how I currently feel in MY body.

“It dawned on me if I kept them on that she’d ask why I’m in trousers and I thought about the negative effect it could have on her down the line me saying ‘because mummy’s legs are bigger than usual’.

“I don’t ever want her to feel like she should cover herself, especially on the beach! So the pants came in handy to wipe up my non alcoholic cocktail but other than that, they haven’t been needed!

“I’ve worn my bikinis every day. The top of my thighs chaffed like a MF, but we had an absolute blast and made the most incredible memories as a family.

“I can’t believe next time we’ll have little man with us as a family of four. We’re so lucky and so blessed.”
