KAILYN Lowry slammed her baby daddy Chris Lopez for being just a “sperm donor” for her two youngest kids, after claiming the father takes very little responsibility for his sons.
The Teen Mom 2 star has been open about her relationship with her three baby daddies and previously claimed that she doesn’t receive child support from any of them.
Kailyn, 29, spoke about neglectful fathers with her friend Toni on her Baby Mamas No Drama podcast as they discussed the struggles of single-mom parenting.
After Toni discussed how her son Brandon’s father has not reached out to have a relationship with his son, Kailyn said: “I don’t know what I would say to Brandon if he ever wanted to go meet his dad.
“I don’t even want to call him a dad,” she added, as her friend jumped in saying: “No, we call him the sperm donor.”
“Yes, that’s what I call mine too,” Kailyn confessed, in speaking about her ex Chris Lopez.
Kailyn and Chris were first linked in 2017, and shortly after they announced that they would be welcoming their first son together, Lux.
The couple split ways after the child’s birth in 2018 and were on and off for the next two years as they led a tumultuous co-parenting relationship.
Despite a series of fights that allegedly became physical, the TV personality announced that she was pregnant with Chris yet again in February of 2020.
Ever since baby Creed‘s birth in July of 2020, the pair have not seen eye to eye, and Kailyn has regularly complained about Chris’ contribution towards his children.
The MTV star recently spoke out about her desire to continue having kids with her controversial baby daddy despite their complications.
“For the listeners who do not understand my wanting to include Chris in things or wanting to have a second child by him… what is it about relationships with men or relationships in general.
“It could be with women I guess or having children with him, whatever that looks like, and still wanting to include them even though they’ve made us cry, they’ve broken up with us, they’ve done x,y, or z, lie, they do whatever… and we want them to be involved with these children that we’re having,” she explained.
Kailyn also claimed that the ex-couple suffered a miscarriage during their relationship, claiming that she let him return to her life because she wanted to give him the opportunity to do better.
“I ended up pregnant not once, not twice, but Chris and I had a miscarriage before… Through all the s**t, maybe he would pick me kinda… not pick me over the child… like not in a way like I’m going to get pregnant so he loves me… I am pregnant so maybe this kinda will open his eyes.”
The Teen Mom star had also previously miscarried during her marriage to Javi Marroquin, as she told People: “I know that there are people that are going to talk about it, but I think at the end of the day I’m going to help more people by [being open] about it, so that’s what kind of keeps me going through the whole thing.”
