Who is taking part in The Piano At Christmas?

Host Claudia Winkleman returns alongside judges Mika and Lang Lang as they search for the UK's most talented pianists. This year, the show's participants will play their favorite Christmas songs on the public piano at London's King's Cross Station.

Angelina

In series one, 22-year-old music student Angela performed Dancing Queen by ABBA. Angela shared her excitement about performing on her own and being able to showcase her musical abilities without relying on anyone else.

Daniel

13-year-old Daniel from Manchester, who taught himself to play piano using YouTube during lockdown, also returns to The Piano At Christmas. Daniel expressed how appearing in the first series boosted his confidence and made performing in the Christmas special easier and less scary.

Harry & Fiona

Harry, 94, from Glasgow, and Fiona, 61, from Berkshire, are back to perform on The Piano At Christmas. Harry started playing the piano after receiving an accordion from his dad, while Fiona gained a scholarship to study piano and musical theory. Both Harry and Fiona are thrilled to be invited back and are looking forward to reuniting with their fellow contestants.

Melissa

19-year-old Melissa, a music student from London, discovered her love for playing the piano through her passion for Anime. Melissa enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people and gain confidence through her participation in the first series of The Piano.

Sue

Retired music teacher Sue returns to The Piano At Christmas. Sue, who previously worked as an advisory teacher with vulnerable young people, is excited to catch up with the judges and contestants from the first series.

When is The Piano At Christmas on Channel 4?

The Piano At Christmas will air on Christmas Day at 8.45pm on Channel 4. The show is also available for streaming on Channel 4's streaming service, formerly known as All4.
