JAY Blades has bagged a new show on a rival network to BBC.
Jay has hosted BBC’s The Repair Shop since it first premiered in 2017.

Since its debut, the show and Jay have become staples on televisions nationwide.
The star is now set to appear in a special factual series on Channel 5 that explores the East End of London.
The series is titled Jay Blades: History of The East End and is a Hungry Jay Media production.
Made up of three one-hour episodes, Jay delves into the unique past of his neighbourhood in London’s East End.
Jay will find out more about the people that made East London so special, from law makers to law breakers and everyone in between.
No air date has been set as of yet.
Daniel Pearl, Commissioning Editor Non-Scripted UK Originals Channel 5/Paramount+, has commissioned the show. Dan Baldwin is executive producer with Mel Smith for Hungry Jay Media.
While fans have to wait for more details on the series, they can get their Jay fix on The Repair Shop.
The show’s new season will air on June 7 on BBC One, with episodes also available on BBC iPlayer.
The Repair Shop shared the good news with fans this week via Instagram and said: “#TheRepairShop is back! Returning to your screens on June 7, Jay and the team are back in the barn for the summer, ready to rescue and restore more beloved items.”
Fans welcomed the news. An excited social media user said: “Have loved this programme and Jay and the team since it’s very beginning. The whole world should take note!!”
“You guys amaze me! So fun to watch!.” another chimed in.
Therapeutic for some, a viewer added: “Best therapy ever. Love every episode and every single repair.”
The Repair Shop returns on Wednesday, June 7 at 8pm on BBC One.
