VIEWERS of The Reunion were all left with same complaint just moments into the show.
ITV‘s latest Friday night drama had fans perplexed all within the first ten minutes.
The Reunion kicked off on ITV but many fans were left confused
They were left lost just moments into the show
The series, adapted from a best-selling novel by acclaimed writer Guillaume Musso, is set in the lush surroundings of the French Riveria as well as modern-day scenes in London – providing a contrast between the past and the present.
It kicks off by following three friends planning a reunion at their old high school.
The friends in question have grown apart and lost touch over the last 25 years but are bound together by a dark secret.
The disappearance of a high school girl is still haunting them and it seems as though someone may know more than they are letting on.
However, just minuets into the show, ITV viewers were left baffled at the consistent location switches and the ‘confusing’ plot line.
Fans took to X – formerly Twitter, to comment on the opener of the show.
One wrote: “I’m confused already, there’s a lot of hopping about and it’s only been 8 minutes.”
Another added: “I’m confused already!”
A third moaned: “Quite an odd structure to rush that bit at the beginning then go slow through the present day.”
A fourth confessed: “There’s a lot going on in the first five minutes!”
As a fifth admitted: “This is slightly annoying me already.”
Amongst the cast on the show is Ioan Gruffudd, Gregory Fitoussi and Rupert Graves.
They insisted it was too confusing as things got underway
