THIS Morning viewers were left swooning today as ex-EastEnders star Ben Hardy returned to screens.
The 31-year-old actor, who has tasted Hollywood success since leaving Albert Square in 2015, was on the show to plug the release of thriller The Girl Before in America.
The creepy four-part drama aired in the UK over Christmas and kept viewers on the edge of their seats as the mystery unfolded.
Viewers were delighted to see him, with one writing on Twitter: “Ben Hardy is still an absolute dish.”
Another posted: “Ben hardy…. Oooooofffttt.”
A third said: “Ben hardy has a beautiful voice #ThisMorning.”
However, others were confused that he was promoting the programme months after its domestic air date.
One said: “Weird they have Ben Hardy on promoting the girl next door when it’s getting released in America rather than when it was first released here. But always happy for Ben Hardy time.”
The actor plays insecure boyfriend Simon in the drama as he struggles to deal with girlfriend Emma’s [Jessica Plummer] relationship with an enigmatic architect and the house in which she rents from him.
In December Ben, who played Peter Beale in Enders, made his relationship with co-star Jessica official when they were photographed kissing on a night out in London.
He split with his ex-girlfriend, actress Olivia Cooke, last year, with friends telling The Celeb Report: “Olivia and Ben were smitten to begin with but the intensity soon fizzled out. They’re at pivotal points in their acting careers and just couldn’t make it work.”
