The TV star unveiled her garden makeover on social media with a before and after video of the remodelling works at her Birmingham home.

She scanned across the cosy yard which showed dirt where the dug up old path was and a series of tropical plants waiting to be planted.

Then she showed off the finished result including new tiling featuring non-slip tiling and the plants put into stunning pots around the yard.

“So after my Fall in my Garden I decided to have a Path Make-over,” she captioned the video.

“Instead of being slippy when wet the path now has texture and is non slippy when when it rains – Result ! I know i’m extra but safety always comes first !!”

Her fans loved the transformation telling her they had “garden envy”.

But her This Morning co-host could not help but have a crack at her infamous tumble in the year.

“I wanna see more falls. #legendofthefall,” Dermot O’Leary commented on her video.

In July, Alison was rushed to hospital with a suspected blood clot in her leg after the nasty tumble in her garden.

The This Morning star spotted a bulging vein on the back of her leg after she skidded on some slippy paving slabs.

The presenter revealed her ordeal on the ITV show today as they aired footage from her fall captured on her home CCTV.

Alison told co-host Dermot: “It was actually quite a bad fall you know. I can’t get up there because I think I’ve broken my leg.

“It was absolutely awful. Can you see, Mark has patched me up today.

“So yeah it was a trauma. Not only that then this vein came on the back of my knee. I was like oh my God I’ve got a DVT.

“I went to the doctor and the doctor was like ‘you really need to go to hospital.

“So then I’m in hospital for seven hours… They patched me up. Did some tests, it wasn’t DVT.

“No DVT, it was just a vein and I’m getting old.”

She added: “It’s the second time I’ve fallen on those tiles.

“It’s an over reaction but I have actually changed them, I’ve dug them up, something with a bit more texture.”

Dermot admitted he was concerned for Alison when she entered the ITV studio after the fall to prepare for the show.

He said: “I was looking down and you had this open wound, this gash on your leg.”

LloydsPharmacy pharmacist, Anshu Kaura recently explained that Deep Vein Thombosis is a blood clot which typically occurs in the leg.

Speaking to The Celeb Report she said: “It is more likely to occur if you are over the age of 60, overweight, smoke, have had DVT previously, take the contraceptive pill or HRT, have cancer or heart failure or have varicose veins.

“As well as the above, there are some temporary scenarios that may make you more at risk of DVT such as, being confined to a bed, going on a long journey (more than three hours), are pregnant or dehydrated.

“There are various symptoms of DVT to look out for, such as throbbing or cramping pain in one leg (typically in the calf or thigh), swelling, warm skin and red or darkened skin around the painful area or swollen veins that are hard or sore.”

If you think you have DVT you should speak to a doctor as soon as possible, she added.
