TIPPING Point’s Ben Shephard made a cheeky jibe at one of the contestants on Wednesday afternoon after a player lost his entire prize pot.
The ITV host was joined by contestant Surge who took a gamble on the show against his wife’s wishes.
George, Charlotte and Surge went head-to-head in a bid to make it to the final round and beat the coin machine.
Player Surge made it to the final round with a total of £3,000, but things quickly went downhill when he decided to trade his winnings for a chance to take home the £10,000 jackpot.
Surge told Ben that he was risking it all and going against his wife’s advice.
The contestant had three counters left to try and knock the jackpot counter out of the machine, but luck wasn’t on Surge’s side.

As his final counter dropped into the machine, the host shouted: “No, no, no, don’t ride. Be flat, be flat, be flat.
“It’s flat and if that silver one hits the black counter…”
Sadly Surge had lost his original £3,000 and was walked away from the show empty-handed.
“Surge, I am devastated for you,” Ben told the player as the gutted contestant replied: “It didn’t happen.”
“You really should have listened to your wife,” Ben joked.
Surge hilariously responded: “I better not go home now.”
It comes after viewers were left seething when a contestant “ruined” the show after posting a revealing behind-the-scenes pic.
Ahead of Tuesday afternoon’s episode, player Brian McNott took to social media to engage with fans – but soon gave away the show’s eventual winner.
Brian, a social worker from Glasgow, could be seen racing ahead of his fellow contestants and securing a nice lead in the first round.
It was then that Brian surfaced on Twitter sharing a picture of him posing alongside host Ben on set with a big smile on his face.
Captioning the revealing snap, he said: “Come on then Twitter, what you got for me?”
Fans immediately rushed to the comments accusing the contestant of dropping a major clue that he won the episode.
Alongside an emoji of an angry face, one person penned: “Looks like you’ve spoilt it for us all. You won then?”
Echoing their comments, someone else fumed: “Why would you post this during the episode? It just spoils it for everyone.”
While a third added: “Brian’s a jammy c***.”
Others agreed he had revealed his victory, but rooted for the star to take home the £10k cash prize.

Brian did make it to the final with an impressive £3,150 in his bank.
Ultimately, he was unable to drop the jackpot counter and opted to take home his £4400 winnings instead.
