Towie stars look unrecognisable in throwback snaps as one admits that they’re ‘terrified of dating’

TOWIE favourites Junaid Ahmed and Chloe Brockett look almost unrecognisable in a picture from four years ago.

Taking to his Instagram account, Junaid, who has been at the centre of controversy this series, posted the snap in response to a fan asking about his relationship with Chloe.

Junaid, 28, who first appeared on The Only Way Is Essex last year, captioned his post saying: “I speak to her pretty much everyday, just talk the most random sh**t.”

He added: “This was us back in 2019.”

Instead of his trademark flawless complexion, Junaid sported a beard and appeared makeup-free – which is in stark contrast to his current appearance.

But it isn’t just his face that was different, his style of clothes is too. Instead of bold prints and colours that we have grown used to on the show, Junaid’s style seemed incredibly tame.

Wearing a simple grey polo neck t-shirt, he teamed his look with a pair of black jeans and matching shoes.

Meanwhile, Chloe had grown her hair down to her waist and she too sported what looked like an au naturel appearance.

Wearing a leopard print floor length dress, she completed her look with a pair of strappy heels.

While Chloe, 22, may have her troubles to contend with when it comes to her friendship group on Towie, she is never short of male attention.

But Chloe has admitted that she is terrified of dating.

In an exclusive chat with The Celeb Report, she explained: “I’m the worst person to go on a date. I hate going on dates.”

She added: “Everyone thinks I’m really confident but honestly I’ll cancel a date 10 minutes before I’m meant to leave.”

Chloe has openly said on the show that she is happily single but now we know the reason behind her confident admission.

She went on to say: “I’ll make an excuse like ‘I’m so sorry my dog has just fallen down the stairs.’ I’m the worst.”

The  reality star added: “I wish I enjoyed dating but I really don’t.”
