TOWIE is in for a major cast shake-up following the nightclub brawl involving stars Chloe Brockett and former cast member Ella Rae Wise.
The Celeb Report has learnt that 21 year-old Chloe’s future on the show is hanging in the balance – while Ella, also 21, is being lined up for a full-time return.
Chloe is under investigation and will be quizzed by police after she threw an ice bucket at her co-star Ella following a row in the W London Hotel – and the chances of her returning to the ITVBe show are in doubt.
Our source said: “ITV have to take violence very seriously and cannot be seen to condone Chloe’s actions by bringing her back on the show without looking into the matter in great detail.
“At the moment, it’s not looking good for her but she is very popular with viewers and brings a lot of fireworks to the show, so if she was let go, it would be a huge loss to the series.”
But while Chloe will have to wait to learn her fate, Ella has been offered a full-time return to the show after being axed in the show’s mass cull last year.
Our insider says: “Bosses realise they made a big mistake axing Ella. They wanted to strip the show back and focus on fewer cast members but they now see that Ella was a big loss.
“They brought her back for the Christmas special and now they have offered her a full-time gig back on the new series.
“Whether Chloe comes back alongside her or not, they are confident Ella will be great value and make the next series unmissable viewing.”
Filming for the new series will begin in June, and the show has been off air since the festive special.
When contacted by The Celeb Report, a spokesperson for the show said: “TOWIE is not currently filming and casting for the forthcoming series has not yet been confirmed.”
The Celeb Report revealed at the weekend that Chloe threw the ice bucket at Ella Rae Wise during a furious row – only to miss and hit another woman in the face.
The reality TV star, who previously claimed she enjoyed a night at a holiday villa with Jack Grealish, was on a boozy night out when she started to argue with Ella.
Eyewitnesses say Chloe launched the Grey Goose cooler at Ella but it missed and hit the bystander.
A shocking video shows the bleeding woman being held back by other guests including TOWIE co-stars Roman Hackett and Rem Larue.
In the background Chloe, 21, can be seen flailing around as she is pinned down.
The incident broke out in the early hours of Saturday morning in The Perception Bar at W London Hotel.
A witness who was on a night out at the Soho venue with friends said: “Chloe and Ella were rowing and it turned nasty.
“We saw Chloe throw an ice bucket at Ella but it missed and hit another woman. She was seriously bleeding.”
The woman who was hurt in the brawl contacted the police who are looking into what happened.
A source said: “The police have been called by the young woman caught up in the incident.
“She was left badly shaken up and needed stitches to a wound on her head afterwards.
“Her family, including her cousin who is one of Chloe’s former Towie co-stars Rem Larue, are supporting her.

Chloe is yet to comment on the incident, and Ella has only posted a cryptic comment.
Ella took to instagram the day after the drama happened, writing: “My circle is small but they are all I need.”
