SIR David Suchet’s brand new drama, The Au Pair, starring Vera favourite Kenny Doughty, was secretly filmed at the same location as a Disney blockbuster. The series, also featuring Sally Bretton and Ludmilla Makowski, is set in the idyllic Cotswolds.

Secret Location Revealed

The Celeb Report uncovered that The Au Pair was filmed in Enniskerry, Republic of Ireland, nearly 200 miles away from the Cotswolds. This town in Co. Wicklow was also used for Disney’s Enchanted sequel in 2021.

Stunning Family Home

The drama is set in a 162-year-old Victorian mansion in Foxrock, South Dublin, the same area where U2's Bono resides. The mansion, known as Lis na Carrig, is available for hire for various events.

Mixed Reviews from Fans

Despite the picturesque setting, The Au Pair has received mixed reviews from fans. Some viewers expressed disappointment, with one considering it a waste of time. The four-part series airs on Channel 5, with the next episode scheduled for Thursday night at 9pm.
