PAUL Brand made his Good Morning Britain presenting debut alongside Kate Garraway on August 18, 2022.
But this is not the first time he has appeared on the morning show, having previously made appearances in a guest role.
Who is GMB host Paul Brand?
Paul Brand is a Welsh journalist born in Bridgend.
When he turned 18 years old he received a bursary from ITV to study journalism at City, University of London.
Since 2021, he has been the UK Editor for ITV News, where he appears nightly on the Evening News and News At Ten.
He also hosts the current affairs show Tonight, a role he took over from Julie Etchingham in March 2022.

At the 2019 PinkNews awards, Brand was named Broadcaster of the Year for his investigation into the practice of LGBT conversion therapy.

What TV shows has Paul Brand presented?
Paul began his career as a production journalist at ITV Wales, before becoming a political correspondent for ITV Yorkshire and ITV Tyne Tees.
He then covered politics for Good Morning Britain and joined the network ITV News team in 2016.
On August 18, 2022, Paul made his Good Morning Britain presenting debut alongside Kate Garraway.
Paul helped Kate read the latest breaking news and other headlines which included A-Level results, before engaging in a heated discussion with National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers’ boss Mick Lynch.
Paul asked the 60-year-old: “What support are you giving members because you are on a six-figure salary, I don’t want to demonise you for that as there are politicians on a six-figure salary.”
Lynch quickly slapped Paul down by assuring him he was not on a six-figure salary, stating: “I’m not on a six-figure salary, that is completely untrue.”
However, only one day later Paul finished his GMB presenting duties with a second day of hosting.
Co-host Ranvir Singh said: “It’s your second and last day today isn’t it?”
She then joked how he “only wanted two early starts in his contract”.
Is Paul Brand married and does he have any children?
Paul has been married to his husband Joe Cuddeford since 2017.
Cuddeford is a civil servant working at the Geospatial Commission.
In June 2021, the pair welcomed an adorable baby son.
