THE second installation of Young Wallander is set to return to Netflix next week.
With some new faces being added to the cast, here’s a look at some of the cast members returning.
Who is in the cast of Young Wallander season 2?
Adam Pålsson
Adam Pålsson is a Swedish actor who was born on March 25, 1988.
He plays the lead character of Kurt Wallander – a rookie police officer in present day Sweden.
The young actor has starred in a variety of screenplays such as the mini TV series Don’t Ever Wipe Tears Without Gloves in 2012.
Adam also acted in another TV series called Before We Die in 2019 where he played a character called Christian.
Yasen Atour
Yasen plays the character of Reza Al-Rahman in the new Netflix series.
He has also appeared in another Netflix series The Witcher in which he stars as Coen.
Speaking to Vanity Teen, he shared his best blessing from acting has been being sent around the globe and ‘you would never have come into contact with otherwise”.
Leanne Best
Leanne Best will return to Young Wallander as her character Frida Rask.
The actress has starred in a number of popular screenplays such as Doctors, New Tricks Line of Duty and Black Mirror.
She also starred in movies such as The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Ellise Chappell
Ellise Chappell will return to the show and continue to play her character – Mona.
The actress has starred in The Last Dragonslayer as Jennifer Strange in 2016.
She also appeared in Poldark as Morwenna Carne betwene 2017-2019.
Tomiwa Edun
Tomiwa Edun is a Nigerian actor best known for his roles in Merlin and Bates Motel.
He is famous for being the voice of Alex Hunter in FIFA 17, FIFA18 and FIFA 19.
He has also starred in Doctor Who, What Happened to Monday and will join the cast of Young Wallander in season two.

Young Wallander will return on February 17. 2022.
The season will return to Netflix for its second season with some new faces joining the cast.
What is Young Wallander season 2 about?
With the first series of the show ending with Wallander quitting the police department, the question of what will happen has left fans gagging for more.
The original story of Wallander is based on a series of novels created by Henning Mankell between 1994 and 2007.
It’s therefore very likely the writers of the Netflix show will follow the course of events provided in the books.
