Who is Kravanista on Doctor Who?

DOCTOR Who is back on the box and sees the return of monsters like the Weeping Angels, Ood, Sontarans and Cyberman.

But there’s also a new baddie on the block – a creature called Karvanista.

Who is Kravanista on Doctor Who?

Karvanista made their debut in the opening episode of Doctor Who season 13.

They are a dog-like Lupa alien who are part of the Lupari race.

The Karvanista are said to be fearsome fighters, technologically advanced, and have a surprising connection to humanity.

In Episode 1, we see Karvanista use a massive arsenal of weapons to capture Dan Lewis, which includes a shiny axe, death discs, stun cubes, and even a device that can shrink entire houses.

Who plays Karvanista in Doctor Who?

The Karvanista is played by Liverpool-born actor Craig Els.

He has been working in the acting industry since 2007 and has starred in Call the Midwife, Endeavor, Ripper Street, Bletchley Circle and Law & Order: UK.

However, the 43-year-old actor is best known for his role on Coronation Street as Derek Milligan in 2019.

What is the Timeless Child revelation?

What makes Karvanista so important to the Doctor is that they are part of a mysterious Time Lord force known as the Division, which was created to keep the Doctor’s past as the Timeless Child a well-hidden secret.

The Doctor is not a Time Lord from Gallifrey, says the Timeless Child revelation.

Instead, she’s a mysterious interloper from another dimension who became the source of the Time Lords’ regeneration powers.

The Timeless Child’s DNA was spliced with that of the Time Lords, giving them the ability to regenerate, and making the Doctor their genetic template.
