THERE have been tears, tantrums and plenty of drama, but The Only Way is Up for Towie stars Dan Edgar and Amber Turner.
The on/off couple reunited in May after Dan’s so-called “quarter-life crisis” saw him dump Amber and have a fling with their co-star Chloe Sims.

But it wasn’t long before Dan told Amber he’d made a huge mistake – and begged her to take him back.
Speaking to Seconds Away Online’s Big Interview, Amber claims Dan is a “changed man” since getting back together – and they’re even talking about marriage and babies.
“Sometimes you have to go through really low points in life, and Dan admits what happened was a real low for him,” Amber said.
“He lost me. I was gone and he wasn’t in the best place.

“When you lose someone it makes you realise how much you want them and need them in your life.
“He’s 30 next year and that puts a lot of stuff into perspective. He’s not someone in their mid-20s anymore, he’s mature and serious about life.
“Obviously joking around, but he has had his mid-life crisis already. Now he’s such a changed person.
“He’s so happy and focused on his future. I’m excited for the future with him.”
Amber joined the Towie cast with her ex-boyfriend Jamie Reed in 2017.
Their relationship ended in tears when she admitted cheating on him with Dan, who she started dating straight away.

After suffering ups and downs with their romance played out on-screen, Amber and Dan broke up at Christmas.
The 25-year-old quit Towie in a bid to move on, and soon after Dan struck up an unexpected romance with long-term pal Chloe.
Despite fury from friends and Chloe’s cousin Joey Essex about their potential relationship, the pair tried to give things a go.
Weeks later furious Amber made a sensational comeback to Towie for a showdown with Dan.
She confronted him about claiming to love her 48 hours before “shagging” Chloe in Thailand.
“He behaved in a way that was so out of character that it forced me to cut him out of my life,” explained Amber.

“I blocked him on everything, so we didn’t speak for about six weeks.
“I did start to move on, but then he flew out to Ibiza because he knew I was going to be out there. We had a long talk about things.
“We’ve gone through so much, it’s making us stronger.
“He’s learnt a lot from his mistakes and the silly things he’s done.
“I wouldn’t change what happened because it’s made him who he is and it’s made me who I am.
“Now we’re a strong couple and it’s good.
“He’s lucky. It was almost too late.”

Dan dumped Chloe by telling her he wanted to be single – but he’d actually been two-timing her with Amber.
The former friends are no longer speaking after Chloe was left hurt when he “made her look stupid”.
Despite Amber’s shock that Chloe got together with Dan after their break-up, she claims not to hold a grudge and has tried to reach out to the 36-year-old.
“Sadly she hasn’t called or messaged me back,” said Amber.
“She wouldn’t film with me either.
“But I don’t have anything bad to say about her. I actually really liked her and her sister.
“I just think all in all, I feel disappointed about what’s gone on.
“I’m not going to hold a grudge.

“She is trying to find ‘the one’. She wants to find who she’s going to marry and spend the rest of her life with.
“We all are. We’re all trying to find that one. I just hope she meets someone who she falls in love and treats her amazingly.
“It’s just s*** that certain lines had to be crossed for her to go through whatever with Dan.
“But there’s no point hating someone. We’ve all got lives to lead.”
For now Amber is focusing on keeping her relationship with Dan on track – even if it means their future on the show being at risk.

“Being on the show puts a lot of pressure on your relationship”, Amber admits.
“We love the show, we do love doing it, but everything comes with its ups and downs. There are a lot of lows on the show that put you in negative places.
“There are a lot of positives as well, but it’s just about finding the right balance.
“We need to find a way that the show’s happy, we’re happy and our fans are too.
“Everything happens for a reason. The timings all work out in the end.
“We’re just going to go with the flow and see what happens.”
She added: “We’ve been through so much drama. It wouldn’t make sense for us to go through that and then for it not to work. I love him very much.”
