And it’s thought dramatic moments were held back from the show as content for Harry’s book  – “Spare” – which will come out on January 10.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told The Celeb Report: “It is very clear that Harry is holding things back for his book.

“All of this is part of a gigantic operation with huge money to play for.

“You always have to hold things back if you want them to sell because you want sensation.

“Netflix feel as though they’ve gotten their money’s worth with their six hours of content – but it’s clear there is more drama to come in the book.

“The book is titled spare and it’s perfectly obvious that there’s not much brotherly love around.”

Here we take a look at what bombshells were omitted from the show – and what could be revealed in Harry’s book.

Prince Harry could reveal which senior royal made the alleged remark about Archie’s skin colour in his book

Harry and Meghan shocked the world when they claimed that a senior royal expressed concerns about the colour of their son’s skin during the bombshell Oprah interview in March last year.

The Duchess of Sussex said there had been conversations with Prince Harry and a “family” member about their unborn son and what colour his skin would be – and “what that would mean or look like”.

But the 39-year-old declined to say who had started those conversations, saying it would be “damaging” for them.

The pair did not brush on the subject in either volume of their docu-series – meaning it could be revealed in Harry’s memoir.

In their interview with Oprah Meghan also revealed she had been struggling with her mental health.

She said when she reached out for help from the palace, she was told because she was not a paid employee, she could not be supported.

In her Netflix show Meghan did brush on the subject – saying she was “not allowed” to get help amid concerns for the institution’s image.

But the show did not reveal who exactly denied her the help.

Neither Meghan nor Harry touched on ‘Tiaragate’ in their show.

The alleged royal tiff occurred in the run-up to their wedding – when Meghan initially wanted a tiara that featured emeralds.

But the future Duke and Duchess of Sussex were unhappy when told her first choice was impossible, as no one knew exactly where it came from.

An insider said at the time: “There was a very heated exchange that prompted the Queen to speak to Harry.

The bombshell Netflix documentary also revealed…

“She said, ‘Meghan cannot have whatever she wants. She gets what tiara she’s given by me’.”

However, a book by reporter Robert Jobson revealed Harry told staff before the couple’s wedding: “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets.”

In the end, the future royal wore Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau made in 1932 for the big day.

How did Kate make Meghan cry?

Meghan made a statement about Kate during her bombshell interview with Oprah

In the Oprah interview sister-in-law Meghan Markle dramatically accused Princess Kate of making her cry at a bridesmaid fitting.

The Duchess of Sussex said that Kate had made her cry and “really hurt” her feelings –  despite initial reports that Meghan had “left Kate in tears”.

Meghan revealed: “She (Kate) was upset about something, but she owned it, and she apologised. And she brought me flowers.”

She also said: “There wasn’t a confrontation and I don’t think it’s fair to her to get into the details of that because she apologised, and I have forgiven her.

“What was hard to get over was being blamed for something that not only I didn’t do, but that happened to me.”

Harry and Meghan’s Netflix show did not broach the topic – leaving viewers wondering what exactly happened.

What was the result of Buckingham Palace’s probe into bullying claims?

Jason Knauf is said to be the person who submitted the bullying allegations to HR

Royal insiders had alleged Meghan caused “real stress and trauma” because of the way she dealt with her staff.

She was accused of bullying in an email from her former press secretary, which was sent in October 2018 and later leaked to The Times.

In the missive, the Sussexes’ former press secretary Jason Knauf said he was “very concerned” that Meghan “was able to bully two PAs out of the household”.

The Duchess of Sussex vehemently denied any form of wrongdoing after the allegations were made shortly before her March 2021 interview with Oprah.

Harry and Meghan did mention Knauf in passing during their Netflix show – however, the bullying probe was not spoken about.

The final episode refers to reports about bullying allegations against Meghan, with the timing of that reporting shortly before the Oprah Winfrey interview.

James Holt, executive director of Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Foundation, tells the show: “The timing of the bullying story has even been admitted by the journalist that wrote it that it was done explicitly because of the Oprah interview.”
