The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released two new photos in honour of their 10-year wedding anniversary

Here are some of the adorable small details to appreciate in the breathtaking shots…

1) Mirrors engagement photo

When Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their engagement to the world in November 2020, they also released a stunning photo of them beaming.

Their new photo shared today, over a decade later, perfectly mirrors this shot, with the couple cuddling and looking very comfortable with one another.

Diana’s show-stopping sapphire ring is also pride of place in each image.

2) Thrifty Kate rewearing ASOS dress

As always, the duchess looks beautiful in the photos, and is wearing a floral £195 Ghost ‘Avery’ dress for the shoot.

It’s not the first time we have seen her in the blue dress, which has now sold out.

She first showed it off during the couple’s Royal Tour of Pakistan in 2019 during a reception, but there were very little snaps of her as the event didn’t have photographers.

The dress was actually available on ASOS, and was described as a “georgette mix and match print floral maxi dress”.

3) Kate is William’s wingwoman for fun now Harry has gone

Body language expert Judi James said shared humour and fun seems to be a strong message from these poses.

She told Fabulous: “Although they are formal photos it’s clear the couple are enjoying themselves and having fun too.

“Kate’s dimples in the first shot and William’s beaming smile show they spark one another off in terms of laughter.

“With William missing his life-long wingman and joker Harry in his life it is important that he and Kate can achieve a similar spark of shared fun together.”

4) Wearing the trademark Cambridge blue

Ever noticed how the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge often wear blue for important events?

It turns out that there is a very important reason why this colour is chosen.

Colour specialist Leatrice Eiseman revealed that “blue reminds us of stability and calm.”

Blue has long been considered a regal colour, and many people in power, such as politicians and businesswomen wear the colour often too.

5) They look more in love than ever

The body language guru added that Kate and William look just as in love as they did on their April 29, 2011 wedding.

She said: “Their physical closeness and their facial expressions suggest nothing has changed between them in the last decade and that they are as in love as they were at their wedding.

“This sense of emotional continuity, stability and solidity suggests a signal of reassurance that the crown will be in safe hands in years to come.

“These two poses together show how their love and respect for one another is mutual. There’s a sense of even status and balance and no hints of any competitive egos.”

6) Expensive bling

Although Kate’s dress may be on ASOS, her jewellery is rather more pricey.

In the shots, the duchess is wearing a Asprey Daisy Heritage Pendant, which can cost £8,848.

It features individually set diamond petals with a pavé diamond centre, all set in 18ct white gold.

She also owns the label’s matching Daisy Heritage Earrings

We haven’t seen it on Kate before, and fans have been speculating whether it was a gift from her husband.

The necklace also goes very well with the label’s matching Daisy Heritage Earrings, which she also owns.

These cost £18,632, and we last saw her wearing them during the Royal Tour of Ireland in early 2020.

Meanwhile, here’s why Kate Middleton & William’s relationship will stand the test of time, as body language shows they’re a ‘playful team’.
