Aussie claims he’s Charles & Camilla’s secret son – all his bonkers ‘proof’ from ‘photo evidence’ to saying ‘Diana knew’

AUSSIE-BASED engineer Simon Charles Dorante-Day claims he is the secret love child of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles when they were teens.

But what proof does the British-born dad have for his claims?

British-born engineer Simon Charles Dorante-Day claims he is the love child of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles from when they were teens

The 55-year-old father of nine believes the couple conceived him when Charles was just 17, and Camilla 18 and he was later adopted by a family who had links to the Royal Family.

Here, Fabulous address the theories Simon has so far presented to the world…

CLAIM: His adoptive grandparents were employees of the Queen and Prince Philip

Born on April 5, 1966 in Gosport near Portsmouth, Simon – who was adopted at 18 months old by a couple named Karen and David Day – would have had to have been conceived in 1965, when Charles and Camilla were teens.

The engineer claims his adoptive grandparents Winifred and Ernest worked as a cook and gardener for the Queen and Prince Philip and told him “many times” he was Charles and Camilla‘s child.

Simon claims Camilla gave him up for adoption in 1966

“She didn’t just hint at it, she told me outright,” he said.

Simon has even filed papers to the High Court in a bid to force the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall to take a DNA test.

Charles and Camilla have not responded to his claims.

TRUE OR FALSE?

Simon claims his grandad Ernest Bowlden received an Imperial Service Award for his royal service, reports 7news.com.au.

However, he doesn’t appear to be on any of the Queen’s Birthday or New Year’s honours lists since her coronation in 1953.

CLAIM: Camilla disappeared for eight months after becoming close to Charles in 1965

Simon alleges the royal lovebirds grew close in 1965, and he alleged they met at Winston Churchill’s funeral in January that year.

He would have been conceived in the summer of 1965, to fit with his April 1966 birth.

He claims Charles was sent to Australia and Camilla disappeared from the public scene for months.

Simon alleges to recollect spending time with a woman he believes to be Camilla, with his adoptive parents and royal protection officers waiting outside.

TRUE OR FALSE?

Charles was 16 when he went to Winston Churchill’s funeral, along with 6,000 other guests and it is not known if he met the then-Camilla Shand.

He did attend the Geelong Church of England Grammar School in Melbourne from early February 1966 until July 1966.

Meanwhile, South Kensington-based Camilla was a debutante in London on March 25, 1965 and pictured throughout the year at balls and parties.

She was not known to have shown any signs of pregnancy or birth during this time.

It is widely reported she met Charles at a polo match in Windsor Great Park in 1970, and the pair eventually tied the knot in 2005, a decade after her divorce from first husband Andrew Parker Bowles in 1995.

CLAIM: His birth certificate is ‘rubbish’

Simon claims his birth certificate is ‘rubbish’

Simon claims the hospital where his birth certificate lists his birth didn’t deliver a single baby during the decade he was born.

He also says the names of his birth parents are “fictitious” and the official documents from his adoption are written in his mum’s handwriting.

TRUE OR FALSE?

Simon has never actually disclosed the names written on his birth certificate or the hospital, so it is hard to investigate his claims.

CLAIM: He and his son resemble the royal family

He has previously shared images comparing himself to Prince Charles

He even claims he looks similar to Camilla

Simon often posts side-by-side shots of him and his children with the royals, and claims it is proof of a link.

He most recently shared an image comparing his son Liam to the Queen when she was in her 20s and said he was “blown away” when he first saw the images side-by-side.

On a photo of him as a young man, he wrote: “Good quality shot – the Camilla style Hair doesn’t miss.”

TRUE OR FALSE

This is down to personal opinion.

Simon has brown eyes, while Charles and Camilla both have blue eyes, but he claims his eye colour was altered in some kind of operation when he was small.

He has not disclosed medical records to prove his eye colour did change.

It is possible for children to have different eye colours to their parents, and darker colours tend to be more dominant.

CLAIM: Princess Diana ‘knew he existed’

Not surprisingly, Charles and Camilla have not responded to the claims
Not surprisingly, Charles and Camilla have not responded to the claims

He told New Idea in February 2019 that Diana had been preparing to “go public” with the news of his birth before her death in 1997.

He claims: “At the time, there were all sorts of rumours flying around about the Royal Family, and my existence was one of them.

“I think Diana was at a point where she was finding out answers about her life, how she was wronged, and she was going to go public with it.”

TRUE OR FALSE?

We can’t verify if these claims are true.

Simon would have been born when Charles and Camilla were still in their teens – and Charles only met Diana in 1977, and later in 1980 when he married her the following year.

Mr Dorante-Day has previously claimed the Royal Family have spent “years” hiding from the “truth.”
