BORIS Johnson is about to reach another landmark in his career – appearing in the pages of the Beano.
The Prime Minister will join the likes of David Beckham, One Direction and the Prince of Wales, who’ve all featured in the children’s comic.
Boris, 57, will be seen arriving at an event looking dapper and groomed before he’s attacked by an ostrich, leaving him with his characteristic unkempt appearance.
An insider said: “Though the Beano pokes gentle fun at the PM, it’s real honour for him to be included in its pages.
“After all a long line of great Conservative premieres have also been in the comic, including Baroness Thatcher and Sir Winston Churchill.”
Boris appears in the new edition of the Beano, which is published tomorrow.

He is seen on a visit to the Bash Street Kids’ school sports day in Beanotown, but struggles to remember where he is.
He says: “It’s wonderful to be here in Bolton…Leeds?…Whitley Bay?”
After getting savaged by the ostrich, whose egg he mistakes for a football, he enquires once more: “Where am I again? Just so I know not to come back.”
It’s part of a special Jubilee edition of the comic, which features The Queen sat astride a dinosaur, chasing Beano characters Dennis the Menace and Minnie the Minx.
