Countdown star Carol, 61, also shared rare photos of her son Cameron, 25, and her daughter Kate, 31, in lively spirits and posing for sweet family photos.

She captioned her snaps: “DAY TWO of our Platty Joobs

Carol later posed up a storm with a croquet mallett in her hands, and revealed: “Platty Joobs croquet…. I think you’ll find I was quite competitive….

Carol’s kids are almost just as smart as her, with Kate obtaining her PhD earlier this year in nanotechnology from Cambridge University.

The star, who herself read engineering at Cambridge, posted snaps with her 206K followers celebrating her lookalike daughter’s success.

She shared a picture of a coffee cup, which read Dr. Katie King, and said her daughter wants to help to cure cancer, writing: “She is part of a big research team working at @cambridgeuniversity and with Astra Zeneca.

“So here’s me as her Mum. So proud. I know all the struggles she’s overcome, and the hard graft she’s put in to become this fine young woman.”

Carol shares Katie and 25-year-old son Cameron with her ex-husband Patrick King.

Her son has impressively achieved a Master’s degree at Dundee university despite the fact he has severe forms of ADD, dyslexia, and ADHD.
