DAVINA McCall has taken down a scathing comment that she left on Piers Morgan’s post calling Princess Diana’s memorial statue “stiff”.
The former Big Brother host deleted the remark that slammed the new statue unveiled by Diana’s sons Prince William and Prince Harry on Thursday.
Davina, 53, made her feelings known after seeing the monument online on what would have been Diana’s 60th birthday.
The stone, in the gardens of Diana’s former Kensington Palace home, sees the star in the latter years of her life and surrounded by children.
But Piers, 56, was far from impressed and took to social media to mock the statue.
Piers shared an image with a caption: “Let’s be honest – it’s not a great statue of Diana.”
Replying to The Life Stories host, Davina said she was not a fan.
The Masked Singer UK judge responded to the post, writing: “I really wanted to like it.

“But somehow… It doesn’t feel very Diana?
“Her joie de virvre… her radiance, her compassion. It feels stiff.”
Harry and William have been working together on the statue project since 2017.
The pair laughed and joked together as they came face-to-face for the first time since Prince Philip’s funeral in April.
They didn’t give a speech at the service – but instead released a statement to the media.
In a statement they said: “Today, on what would have been our mother’s 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character – qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better.”
