Charles is said to have not allowed his disgraced brother to wear ceremonial robes for today’s event.

Prince Andrew, 63, and squabbling California-based Prince Harry, 38, are among those royals who are taking a back-seat.

Although no official seating plan has been revealed, neither will have a ceremonial role and will not appear in the carriages or processions.

But Harry and Andrew will be sitting inside the Abbey with other members of the Royal Family.

However it is reported that Harry will sit in the third row between Princess Eugenie’s husband Jack Brooksbank and Princess Alexandra, one of the late Queen’s cousins.

Andrew looked serious as he headed to the ceremony from Buckingham Palace.

His Majesty himself is wearing the Robe of State, a Crimson Coronation Tunic and a cream silk overshirt with Royal Naval trousers.

On departure from Westminster Abbey, His Majesty will wear the Robe of Estate and a Purple Coronation Tunic in place of the Robe of State and Crimson Tunic.

The Duke of York was spotted going for a water workout yesterday ahead of today’s coronation.

Andrew was engulfed in a sex scandal with Virginia Roberts that rocked the royal family.

In 2019, Virginia has claimed that she had sex with Prince Andrew in a toilet when she was 17, after a night where he had allegedly been plying her with vodka in a posh London club.

The royal has vehemently denied the accusations against him, branding them “false” and “without foundation”.

On February 15, 2022, it was announced that Prince Andrew settled the lawsuit – sparing him a humiliating court battle.

Charles waved to thousands of cheering royal fans today as he was driven into Buckingham Palace ahead of his landmark coronation.

The monarch will be joined by his family and world leaders at Westminster Abbey as he pledges his life to the country.

Charles, 74, and Queen Camilla will be crowned in a spectacular ceremony expected to be watched by 350million people.

Thousands of royal superfans packed into viewing areas from 6am to watch the procession.
