Eagle-eyed royal fans have spotted a big clue Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are preparing a big social media comeback

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have given away a big clue that they are preparing a big social media comeback, claims a royal expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stopped posting on their SussexRoyal account when they stepped down as senior royals in 2020.

Royal fans think Meghan and Harry are going to make a comeback to social media after they were spotted with microphones and wires during their recent New York trip

Fans think that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could relaunch their social media channels to tie in with their upcoming Netflix documentary

However, if their recent royal tour to New York is anything to go by, the couple could be posting for fans in the near future.

Royal commentator Roberta Fiorito said on the Royally Obsessed podcast: “I was reading so much about Meghan and Harry having a video camera and a photographer following them.

“We haven’t seen any Archewell updates when they were in New York so we’re going to see tonnes of footage from that.

“There’s maybe a Netflix documentary in the works. There’s speculation they are relaunching their social channels and this is all content for that.”

It is possible that we could see Meghan and Harry making a return on a personal social media account, or for their Archewell foundation.

Harry previously opened up about the dangers of social media to Fast Company, but said he hasn’t ruled out a return when it is “right.”

He said: “We will revisit social media when it feels right for us-perhaps when we see more meaningful commitments to change or reform-but right now we’ve thrown much of our energy into learning about this space and how we can help.”

Meanwhile, Meghan likened those on social media to drug addicts during a 15-minute speech at an online conference costing a whopping $1,750 (£1,342) per ticket for guests to log on.

She said at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Next Gen Virtual Summit: “I have a lot of concerns for people that have become obsessed with it and so much a part of our daily culture for so many people that it’s an addiction, like many others very things in this world.

“People who are addicted to drugs are users and people who are on social media are called users.

“And there is something in there algorithmically creating this obsession that I think is very unhealthy for people.”

It comes after Meghan last year spoke of the “almost unsurvivable” pain she suffered at the hands of online trolls.
