EastEnders fans baffled as Mick Carter finally chooses between Linda and Janine Butcher

EASTENDERS fans are baffled after Mick Carter made a decision between his wife Linda and Janine Butcher.

The Queen Vic landlord – who is played by actor Danny Dyer in the BBC soap – finally went public with his feelings for the bar manager after another clash with wife Linda.

Mick finally chose between his wife Linda and Janine

And viewers were baffled when he picked Janine

Frankie told Linda she couldn’t go to pick Ollie up because her drinking sends him struggling.

But Linda was enraged and lay into Frankie.

“Can’t? Who the hell do you think you are?” she said.

“How dare you tell me what I can and can’t do with my own son. If Ollie’s been upset Frankie, then that is all your fault.

“We were fine, we were all fine until you and your dirty, perverted mother showed up. My husband fell apart, my marriage fell apart, my family fell apart.

“You should have stayed where you belonged Frankie – out of sight and in the past.”

Mick walked in and was horrified – ordering Linda to leave Frankie alone.

Seeing she was drinking, he demanded she hand over the wine and leave.

But instead she threw it on the floor and he rushed away.

Outside he found Janine and made his final decision – picking her over his estranged wife.

“The only way my life will be worst is if you weren’t in it so no more hiding, come here,” he said before kissing her in front of the Square.

Viewers are baffled at the decision.

One wrote: “Mick can’t handle Linda being mean when she’s drunk so best of luck to him when Janine shows her true colours to him.”

A second said: Mick saying Janine is kind and caring even though she’s a murderer.”

Another added: “Wait wait wait did Mick actually say Janine was kinder? Does he not know about poor Barry?”

They made it official at the end of the episode
