EastEnders fans convinced Sharon Watts is scamming new husband Ian and knows he killed Denny

EASTENDERS fans are convinced Sharon Watts is scamming Ian Beale after she married him.

The Queen Vic landlady – who is played by actress Letitia Dean in the BBC soap – married the businessman in hospital after he begged her.

While Ian grinned, Sharon seemed furious during the wedding ceremony

But after years of rejecting Ian’s romantic advances, fans think Sharon is playing another game – one of revenge.

Viewers know Ian is responsible for Sharon son’s Denny’s death – but on screen it appears that she doesn’t know.

However after her surprise decision to agree to marry Ian – and the thunderous look on her face while it was happening, fans are convinced she knows about Denny and wants revenge.

One wrote: “I now have a theory – does Sharon know about Denny on the boat?

She even seemed disgusted at the prospect of kissing Ian

“Has she tried to kill Ian, that has failed and now she is marrying him for his money and to make The Vic truly hers.

“This, although bizarre would cement Sharon’s place in the show as a woman not to be messed with.”

A second said: “She’s been acting dodgy as anything for weeks and there’s absolutely no way she’d marry Ian without an ulterior motive. All week she’s practically had a flashing light above her head reading ‘SUSPICIOUS’.”

Another added: “I think it all but confirms that Sharon knows about Denny and is behind Ian’s attack. Its the only logical explanation for this storyline.”

Ian was attacked and left for dead in the Queen Vic and rushed to hospital, however doctors discovered the deadly bleed on his brain.

Convinced he is about to meet his maker, Ian confessed to Sharon that he only ever wanted to take care of her – and he wants her to have the Vic.

However with all his debts, Ian isn’t in a position to hand it over, so instead when life insurance pays out, Sharon will receive it from his will.
