EastEnders fans disgusted as Mick Carter lies about Rainie Cross being on drugs to stop her getting her baby

EASTENDERS fans are disgusted with Mick Carter for lying about recovering addict Rainie Cross to stop her getting her baby.

The Queen Vic landlord – who is played by actor Danny Dyer in the BBC soap – is desperate to hide the fact that Max Branning is the biological father of his wife Linda’s baby Annie.

Mick took matters into his own hands on EastEnders tonight

But Rainie is desperate to get Max back to Walford to bring her great niece Abi home and has taken drastic measures to do it.

Nancy found posters across the Square claiming Max was Annie’s father and she was furious.

She and her sister Frankie tried to remove as many of them as possible – but people around the Square had already seen them.

“She is not going to let this go, is she?” said Mick as Nancy showed him the posters.

He warned Nancy: “Don’t let your mother see this. I’m going to deal with this.”

Mick went to confront Rainie in the cafe – but she was unrepentant.

Rainie and Mick had an argument and he took revenge

He said: “I know you’ve got a lot on at the moment but you’ve got this wrong. I understand it’s killing you not seeing your baby and I understand you’ll do anything to get Abi back but you’ve got this wrong.

“You keep on attacking my family and not knowing where Abi is will be the least of your problems. Leave us alone Rainie. You’re playing with our lives but if you come at us again then you leave me with no choice.”

Mick then made his decision and went to visit the Taylors to tell a horrific lie to Rainie’s surrogate Bernie.

“It’s Rainie,” he said.

Mick told the Taylors that Rainie was using drugs again

“I found her off her nut – she’s using again. If I was you I wouldn’t let her near that baby you’re carrying.”

Fans were disgusted he would stoop so low.

One wrote: “Really Mick? I thought you were better than that.”

A second said: “Why? Why would you do that Mick?”

Another added: “Really Mick??!!! REALLY!”
