EASTENDERS fans have demanded that Mick Carter and Janine Butcher romp after spotting major chemistry between them in last night’s kitchen scene.
Since returning to Albert Square in September, the corrupt businesswoman (Charlie Brooks) has landed herself a job in the Queen Vic as a barmaid, and has even moved in.
Thursday night’s instalment of the BBC soap saw Janine and Mick get into the festive spirit as they sung Slade’s song Merry Christmas Everybody in the kitchen.
Janine hit the high notes and shaked her bottom while doing the dishes at the sink, while Mick (Danny Dyer) did some paperwork at the table.
Mick’s daughter Nancy (Maddy Hill) walked in on the two and she didn’t seem impressed.
And viewers of the hit show think that something is bound to happen between them.
One wrote on Twitter: “£10 says Janine and Mick will do the nasty on Christmas Day! #EastEnders.”
Meanwhile others were loving how much they bounced off each other.
Another said: “not being funny right mickjanine have way more chemistry than him and linda.”
A third added: “I love Janine & Mick together.”
A fourth chimed in: “mick and janine… the chemistry is literally showing.”
Nancy was left fuming when her dad told her that they weren’t going to do the Christmas Grotto downstairs in the pub either, as it was “too much agg” and his wife Linda’s “thing”.
As viewers will know, Linda made the decision to leave Walford for a while to keep her daughter Annie away from ex Max Branning.
And it seems like Janine has a soft spot for Mick.
Later on in the episode, the former car dealer wanted to show off her cheeky Christmas jumper to the pub landlord, but had no clue Nancy was in the room.
The top has two baubles placed on her chest and the writing “kiss my baubles” on it.
When Mick left the room, Nancy said to Janine: “When I agreed to you staying, it was so that you’d have a roof over your head.
“Not a place in my dad’s pants.”
Earlier this week Mick made an innocent gesture to help Janine get her daughter Scarlett back.
Mick, who is played by Danny Dyer, agreed to let Janine stay at The Queen Vic for a few weeks after she was kicked out of Jay Brown’s flat for framing him for masterminding the car heist scam.
Having a heart-to-heart with Mick, Janine puts on the waterworks as she tried to convince the landlord that she’s a decent person.
“I know what people around here think about he, I have spent years fanning the flames,” Janine sobbed.
” There was this woman that used to live across the Square, massive earrings and she was always telling me to just grow up Janine.
“And finally I’m trying, not focused on myself anymore, I’m desperately trying to get my daughter back and nobody will give me a chance.
“I just want my little girl.”
The convincing speech left Mick wanting to help the mum-of-one and decided to let her stay.
