GREGGS will close its doors to pastry lovers on Monday, September 19.
It comes as several other major supermarkets and retails have decided to close their doors on the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.

The longest-reigning British monarch died on Thursday at the age of 96.
Her Majesty’s state funeral has been declared a bank holiday and several major retailers and businesses have also decided to close, out of respect.
Greggs has taken the decision to close all its 2,000 UK outlets.
However, some smaller outlets run by franchise partners can decide whether or not to remain open.

A spokesperson for Greggs said: “To give our colleagues the opportunity to pay their respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Greggs shops will be closed on Monday 19th September.
“A small number of our shops, operated by our franchise partners, may remain open. Thanks for your understanding.”
Aldi, Asda, Lidl, M&S, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose will also shut their largest stores on the day Queen Elizabeth II will be laid to rest.
Online deliveries will also be affected and many customers will be forced to reschedule their food orders.
ASOS confirmed today that customers deliveries will be paused as a mark of respect for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral next week.
Primark will close all its shops next Monday for the Queen’s funeral.
All of the high street giant’s 191 stores will be closed on Monday, September 19, as a mark of respect.
All 770 Poundland stores will shut to customers on Monday.
Marks & Spencer is to close all of its store and pause its delivery services.
A small number of stores in the London area will remain open so mourners in the capital can grab a drink or a bite to eat.
The John Lewis Partnership said it will shut John Lewis department stores and Waitrose supermarkets all day for the funeral.
Hardware giant B&Q is also closing all of its store.
Dunelm will be closing its stores as well as pausing delivery, click and collect and customer services on the day of the funeral.
