During the show, host Vernon Kay said to Mike: “Your nose job was for purpose though wasn’t it? Your nose was literally underneath your left eye from rugby. It wasn’t just for looks you had it done?”
Responding with laughter, Mike replied: “No, I was stopping breathing during sleep so it needed to be done.”
What does Mike Tindall do for a living?
Mike Tindall rose to fame and forged a successful career as an English rugby player.
Tindall played rugby union professionally between 1997 and 2014.
During his career, the former rugby plater won 75 caps for England between 2000 and 2011 and captained his country seven times throughout his career.
He was also a member of the England team that went on to win the 2003 Rugby World Cup and the 2003 Six Nations Championship.
Tindall has had a passion for the sport since he was just a teenager – he joined Bath rugby team straight after he left school.
He then made his England debut when he was just 20 and scored a try in his first game for his country.
In 2014, Tindall retired from the sport and has since been playing and coaching for amateur club, Minchinhampton RFC – close to his Gatcombe Park estate where he resides with his wife Zara and their family.
He has also continued to share his love for the sport by co-hosting weekly podcast ‘The Good, The Bad & The Rugby’ with fellow England legend James Haskell and broadcaster Alex Payne.

When did Mike Tindall marry Zara Phillips?
Mike Tindall first met Zara Phillips back in 2003, when the pair were both at a bar during the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Sydney, Australia
One year later, in 2004, they made their relationship official.
After six years of dating, the couple shared the news that they were engaged in December 2010.
Mike decided to design his own ring for his royal bride-to-be, rather than choosing a family heirloom.
The beautiful piece of jewellery he designed features a single solitaire diamond in the centre, surrounded by pavé diamonds on a split platinum band.
In May 2011, the Queen gave her consent for the pair to get married, in front of a Privy Council.
Two months later, on July 30, 2011, the happy couple tied the knot at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, just three months after Zara’s cousin Prince William’s royal wedding with Kate Middleton.
Zara wore an ivory silk dress designed by Stewart Parvin – a designer who was highly praised and favoured by her grandmother Queen Elizabeth.
