Her Majesty, 95, took on 19 jobs in just 19 days after her summer holiday at Balmoral

THE Queen took on a punishing 19 jobs in as many days after the end of her summer holiday at Balmoral.

Questions are now being asked as to whether or not the 95-year-old monarch is working too hard.

Her jobs this month were:

October 1: Planted a tree at Balmoral to launch The Queen’s Green Canopy.

Later that afternoon she met local schoolchildren.

October 2: She travelled 100 miles to Edinburgh to open the sixth session of the Scottish Parliament.

October 6: Windsor Castle for two audiences with diplomats from Belize and Greece over video call.

She then met members of the Canadian Army to mark the 150th anniversary of the A and B batteries of the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery.

Later that evening she had a telephone call with PM Boris Johnson.

October 7: Buckingham Palace for the launch of the Commonwealth Games baton relay.

October 12: Westminster Abbey to mark 100 years of the Royal British Legion.

October 13: Her Majesty welcomed pianist Dame Imogen Cooper to Buckingham Palace, presenting her with The Queen’s Medal for Music for 2019.

She also held three other audiences at the palace.

October 14: In Cardiff to open the sixth term of the Senedd.

October 16: Champions Day at Ascot racecourse.

October 18: A virtual audience with the new governor-general of New Zealand Dame Cindy Kiro.

October 19: Two virtual audiences with the Japanese and EU ambassadors.

In the evening, she was at the Global Investment Summit at Windsor.

The Queen’s next diary date is November 1 at COP26 in Glasgow but aides say they will be “guided by medical advice” before deciding on whether or not she travels.
