COPS have today arrested a man following reports of a suspicious item at the Queen’s official residence in Edinburgh.
A bomb disposal team rushed to the grounds of the Palace of Holyroodhouse earlier today.
Officers could be seen searching the 16th-century palace, which is opposite Edinburgh Castle.
The Queen spends one week at Holyroodhouse at the beginning of each summer.
