KATE Middleton has a secret trick for making sure she never has visible underwear for engagements.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 39, is a fan of bodysuits that seamlessly hide any knicker or bra lines.
Last Tuesday, Kate and husband Prince William, 38, spoke to two individuals with long-term health conditions who are now eligible to receive the Covid-19 vaccine.
For the Zoom call to Fiona Doyle, who lives with asthma, and Shivali Modha, who has type 2 diabetes, the stylish duchess was seen wearing a £119 white body shirt from Holland Cooper.
On the website, it describes the garment as having a “nylon elastane thong base”, which “ensures our bodies have a flawlessly smooth fit every time”.
It added: “This piece creates the impression of a seamlessly tucked-in blouse.

“Inverted dart back pleat and signature gold buttons, this well designed shape creates for a flattering silhouette.”
Kate paired the bodysuit with a recycled £531 dark green “Duchess” wool blazer from Smythe, which she has worn before.
We previously shared how royal etiquette expert Myka Meier claimed Kate relies on strapless and seamless underwear to give a polished look.
Myka, who is the founder Beaumont Etiquette and trained under a member of the Queen’s Royal Household, wrote on Instagram: “Royal Style Hack Alert.
“Ever wonder why you never see bra straps?! Swipe to see a secret trick which is a must-have royal wardrobe piece!”
She then shared a photo of strapless shapewear in a nude colour, and said it was key to looking impeccable.
Speaking to Fabulous, Myka said: “Underwear and bras are also considered private intimate wear, and for royals to put intimate apparel on display would simply not be done.
“There are a few options to hide bra straps, with one option being a bra that is actually sewn into the piece.
“A second option is strapless shapewear, which is a one piece that either snaps at the bottom or has legs attached.
“You can buy them in almost any skin tone so they appear transparent and don’t show through clothing.
“You want the attention to be on the beautifully tailored and designed garment and not the undergarments.
“Undergarments showing can take away from an amazing outfit.”
To avoid a dreaded VPL (visible pant line) in trousers or a form-fitting dress, Myka said seamless knickers, undergarments or shapewear will be used.
Myka, who has released a best selling book Modern Etiquette Made Easy, said that John Lewis has a line of shapewear and is a brand known to be a royal go-to.
Previously, the etiquette expert said Kate and Meghan Markle have a sneaky trick to stop their skirts blowing up in public and revealing their underwear.
She said: “Often they wear body suits and clothes that actually increase static so it’s much harder for something to fly up.
“So you have an undergarment that is almost like a body suit that is one tactic that is used.
“I know when I went to finishing school we were taught that when you are on the tarmac, if you do not use weights or heavy weighted material, you make sure it will not fly up by wearing undergarments that keep the fabrics connected to your body.”
The Queen is said to use weights along the hem of her dresses, and these are said to be sourced from the curtain accessories section of department store, Peter Jones.
