Inside Harry and William’s bitter feud as Duke of Sussex brands his brother his arch nemesis & Kate Middleton wide-eyed

PRINCE Harry has used his new biography to launch a string of vicious attacks against his “arch-nemesis” William and “wide-eyed” Kate as his war against the couple brutally escalates.

Kate and William have never spoken about the Royal Family rift but Harry is said to have “crossed red lines” by dropping private “truth bombs” and airing dirty linen in his shock book.

The Duke of Sussex describes Kate as ‘wide-eyed’ and grabbing her seat while demanding an apology from Meghan

Wills is said to be “saddened” by the astonishing claims but the palace was last night refusing to be drawn on the allegations.

We can reveal in Spare that Harry claims:

  • William jabbed his finger at Meghan during a row over comments she made about Kate’s “hormones”
  • Describes Kate as “wide-eyed” and grabbing her seat while demanding an apology from Meghan
  • That his brother warned him that a relationship with an “American actress” would go “wrong” and branded Meghan “difficult” and “rude”
  • Harry accuses William of grabbing him by the collar and breaking his necklace knocking him to the ground and cracking his back on a dog bowl
  • Reckons William and Kate were upset they never received a present for Easter
  • Accuses Kate of making Meghan cry over a bridesmaid fitting
  • William was jealous that Harry had approval from the Queen to wear a beard at his and Meghan’s Royal Wedding
  • Kate “grimaced” and was “taken aback” when Meghan borrowed her lip gloss

It is believed that William was braced for attacks from Harry in his biography but few expected such savage comments.

In early leaked extracts Harry described how William “knocked him to the floor” during a row about Meghan.

Harry alleged he was grabbed by the collar ripping his necklace during the altercation and suffered visible back injuries from landing on a dog’s bowl in the kitchen at Nottingham Cottage.

He accused his brother of repeating the “press narrative” about his wife and failing to help.

Harry wrote that William “called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast. So very fast”.

The duke wrote: “He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor.

“I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me.

“I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

Spare was supposed to be under lock and key and not hit the bookshelves until next Tuesday.

But a Spanish-language copy obtained by The Celeb Report yesterday reveals Harry unloads further on William and Kate.

We had previously revealed Harry was set to moan about playing second fiddle to his older brother.

But in his book, Harry brands William his “arch nemesis” and says there has “always been competition” between them.

The Celeb Report first revealed in the summer of 2019 that Harry and Meghan had split from Kate and William’s office.

Spare details a string of seemingly petty and arguments during this row that led the brothers to stop speaking.

The book describes how the Sussexes were invited to William and Kate’s home at Kensington Palace in June 2018 following the wedding and honeymoon “to clear the air”.

Meghan was said to be amazed at Apartment 1a saying “wow” and that it was like a museum.

The couple claim they congratulated their neighbours on the refurbishment but were “ashamed” of their own apartment.

It claims that Meghan raised the issue that there had been tensions between the foursome – which erupted into a tit-for-tat row.

But Harry wrote it escalated when “Willy”- his nickname for Wills – and Kate were “apparently upset that we hadn’t given them Easter presents.”

He claims in response, “we chipped in that we weren’t too pleased when Willy and Kate switched place cards and changed seats at our wedding”

Meghan is said to have upset Kate by saying she had ‘baby brain’

Harry then gives a description of Kate gripping both ends of her chair so that her fingers turned white saying she was owed an apology.

Kate, it is claimed, told Meg she was “offended” when she blamed her “hormones” on being forgetful.

Going further, Kate is said to have opened her eyes widely and responded with ‘you talked about my hormones, we’re not close enough for you to talk about my hormones’.

Meghan, it is claimed, responded by saying “it’s no big deal, it’s baby brain” which incensed William.

The Prince of Wales is then said to have jabbed his finger in Meghan’s face saying it was “rude” adding “we don’t do things like that here”.

Staff in both households sensed the friction and the atmosphere was “poisoned”, the book alleges.

In another petty row, Harry accuses Wills of arguing for a week after he received permission from the Queen to have a beard at his wedding to Meghan.

Harry claims “at one point he actually ordered me, as the Heir speaking to the Spare, to shave”.

Ultimately, Harry won the argument and is pictured with his ginger beard when he got hitched in May 2018 and claims Wills was jealous because he was not allowed one when he married Kate.

Harry also slammed press reports that Kate made Meghan cry during a fitting for Charlotte’s bridesmaids dress and instead claims he came home to find “Meg on the floor. Sobbing”.

During another intense row, the book claims that Kate and Wills visited Harry and Meghan in Nottingham Cottage in December 2018 for a “second summit” that also ended in a row.

Press reports that the four had fallen out was denied by palace officials until Harry told his ITV Africa documentary in 2019 that he and William were “on different paths”

In another excerpt, Harry alleges Wiliam warned him off Meghan when they started dating saying it had “gone too quickly”.

He described sitting in a garden and William warning him “all the things that could go wrong” if he carried on dating “an American actress”.

William is accused of saying “Are you sure you want to carry on with her”.

Harry says he begged his brother asking “what do you want me to do, fall out of love with her?”

Oddly, the book claims the brothers call each other “Harold” and “Willy”.

In the book, Harry also alleges his “heart sank” when Charles confessed he could not afford to pay for the upkeep of Meghan.

No one from Buckingham Palace or the office of the Prince and Princess of Wales wanted to comment about the claims made in Spare.

Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, said: “I do find it completely extraordinary that it is always someone else’s fault.

“Harry seems completely unable to take any responsibility for himself or for his actions which is terrible because that was a virtue that Diana always tried to teach him.

“Diana tried to instil in both William and Harry that they must be responsible for what they do.

“Harry just blames everyone else then runs to his therapist.

“Globally people are bored with Harry blaming his family for everything and he would have a lot more sympathy if he admitted one or two or six or seven things wrong.”
