Inside Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s £2,000 a night Hilton suite with a private lift – and their entourage stayed too

THIS is Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s luxurious suite with its own private lift and hotel rooms for all their entourage, it’s been revealed.

The Duke and Duchess are said to have stayed at the plush five-star Hilton Hotel in the Hague during the Invictus Games – where the Royal Suite costs nearly £2,000 a night.

Harry, Meghan, and their entourage are said to have arrived at the swanky hotel ahead of their stint at the Invictus Games this week.

And their bodyguard Christopher Sanchez also has a room booked at the hotel to keep near to the royal couple at all times, it’s been reported.

The pair enjoyed the luxury 1,500sqft living space – fit with a king-size bed, breathtaking city views, and a private terrace.

Meghan and Harry’s Royal Suite room is located at the top of the hotel, and even includes two rainforest showers and a meeting area.

And at the end of their days at the Games, the Sussexes could relax and watch their 37-inch HD television

Onlookers at the Hilton were said to be shocked to see the royal pair at the hotel this week.

But staff at the luxury hotel were briefed about the Duke and Duchess’ stay before their arrival – and were sworn to secrecy.

It’s believed the pair – who formally quit their roles in the Royal Family in 2020 – were able to access the stunning suite from a private lift directly from the car park.

The hotel’s Executive lounge was closed from last Wednesday to Saturday to allow the royal couple to use for meetings and drinks with their aides.

They checked out on Sunday and moved to Amsterdam, it is claimed.

One source told the Mail: “We know they have been staying here but it is all confidential and we have been told not to talk to anyone about them.”

It comes after it was revealed that Meghan is being protected by ex-US President Barack Obama’s former bodyguard.

She was shielded by Christopher Sanchez over the weekend while at the Invictus Games.

Ex-Secret Service agent Sanchez spent a total of five years protecting presidents — half of the time George W Bush, then the same period for Obama.

It comes as Harry and Meghan sue the Government after his armed bodyguards were removed when the couple quit royal duty to live in the US.

The prince insists he “does not feel safe” enough to bring his family to the UK.

The Sussexes have signed a £113million deal with Netflix who are filming a documentary at the Invictus Games.

And former President Obama’s bodyguard also joined Harry at the Games in 2017.

Bodyguard Sanchez was first spotted keeping a watchful eye on Meghan, 40, as Harry, 37, took part in the Land Rover Challenge at the event in The Hague, Holland, on Saturday.

He then joined the Duchess as she was driven around the site in an electric golf buggy.

Yesterday he helped guard the British Embassy tent where mum-of-two Meghan took part in a reading class with children of Invictus competitors.

Meghan caught the eye in a stylish £1,944 white blazer by US designer Brandon Maxwell.

She and Harry met participants at the multi-sport event for wounded, sick and injured servicemen.

They found themselves wrapped in the Union Jack as they hugged Team UK competitor Lisa Johnston.

The former Army medic and amputee from Doncaster is part of a 61-strong squad.

Harry was also reunited with former paratrooper Jacob Van Gaas, 35, who said afterwards that the Duke was “back where he belongs.”
