Inside the VIP suite at Heathrow where Prince William and Kate Middleton racked up £3,000 bill for three hours

PRINCE William and Kate Middleton jetted off on their holidays with their three adorable kids during their half term, and were spotted departing from Heathrow’s luxurious Windsor suite.

Instead of mingling with fellow travellers, the Cambridges kickstarted their half-term break in the swanky lounge and got the full VIP treatment.

The royals will no doubt feel at home in the Windsor suite as there is a portrait of the Queen on the wall

The Windsor suite is popular with royals, A-list celebrities and world leaders, who want to fly under the radar at England’s busiest airport.

Of course, it certainly doesn’t come cheap to start your holiday with a Michelin dining menu, chauffeur service to your plane and with your own butler.

The Cambridges are said to have splashed out £3,000 for their three hour stay.

Here is what they could have enjoyed in the VIP lounge…

Chauffeur service

Forget struggling on a train with your suitcase or trying to grab an Uber, guests who use the Windsor Suite are picked up in style from their door.

According to the website: “One of our chauffeurs will greet you at your door – you’re then driven in comfort and peace to Heathrow Airport.”

You will also be personally driven to your aircraft after your lounge stay so you aren’t running late through the airport.

Private butler and personal shopper

As you arrive in the Windsor suite, one of the doormen – dressed in top hat and tails – will escort you inside.

Here you will meet your very own personal butler who will ensure you don’t have to lift a finger during your stay.

You also get your own private shopper, who can take you through the delights of the Heathrow terminals.

Extravagant lounge

The VIP room has been decked out to feel luxurious, with a large sofa and arm chairs.

Guests can relax watching their own TV or eat at the large formal dining table.

Michelin dining

The food in the Windsor Suite is certainly fit for royalty as the seasonal menu has been created by British Michelin starred chef Jason Atherton.

Whether you are looking for a light snack or a three-course meal with champagne, the kitchen will have you covered.
